Arrived at 8:00 but no one was there, decided to wait any way because I didnt feel like driving elsewhere. Someone finally arrived at 8:10, which was not a big deal because things happen unexpectedly all the time. Salon was not cleaned prior to closing the day before. Hair and slight trash on the floor, now Im thinking if you know you didnt clean before you left then come in early and clean before your customers get there. The lady that did my hair was nice but she shampooed a lady before me and didnt clean her hair out of the comb or sink. She tried to comb my hair without removing the other ladies hair from the comb. If I had not noticed and jerked away she would have done just that. I had to tell her to clean that comb out. What stylist does that foolishness? When she got ready to straighten and blow my hair she didnt even clean the chair that was covered in hair from the day before. Only when I started cleaning the hair from the chair did she or the owner even attempt to make sure it was clean. After I paid I said thank you, have a nice weekend, no one responded. I guess they didnt like the fact that I cleaned the chair or asked her to clean the comb before doing my hair. Definitely wont be going back, Annas is more expensive but you get what you pay for.

This salon is always clean and the staff is knowledgable and very professional. Ive been serviced by the owner (I think her name is Gia) and another stylist Rose, they both have done an outstanding job on my natural hair. My hair is fine and cottony, but when they finish its always full, bouncy, and I love it! I only have one downside to this establishment: Although they have the prices listed, the prices that Ive been charged have been inconsistent. I dont mind paying "whatever" for their services because its money "well spent", but I would like for them to be consistent so that I dont feel like Im being taken advantage of on any given moment. (Sometimes its $35, other times its $40). Other than that, theyre wonderful! The atmosphere is great and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone in need of a Dominican Salon that really takes pride in caring for natural hair.

I would never go there again. Went in for a relaxer and blow out, in 20 years I have never had someone pull anx tug on my hair before relaxing it, pulling my hair from the roots. I was not satisfied when I left and I will not return.
