I went in for a simple cut and color. (My hair was less than 3 inches long to begin with.) I brought photos, every thing seemed good. Well, I came out looking like a cross between simple jack from tropic thunder and Eminems 1st album. I wish I could post photos, I am not exaggerating about the color or style. It wasnt even close... also it was $210. Did I mention that my hair was about 2" long BEFORE I got there. How is a simple SHORT haircut so expensive??? Then I felt really bad because the stylist seemed so upbeat about it... maybe she juat didnt want me to panic in public? I went home and my boyfriend angrily called the salon back and they sent me to the one in sandy springs. They lady who corrected my eminem look (in sandy springs) was really nice and professional. And she got me looking like a human again... but since the 1st girl bleached my hair then the second lady had to use more chemical to correct it, it literally boiled my scalp. It really hurt to comb my hair for about a week. Im really surprised my hair didnt fall out, actually. Not a good experience for me.

Great experience start to finish! When I arrived early, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who not only offered me a cup of coffee, she made it for me! When Myla was ready, she took me back and gave me a precise and meticulous manicure and pedicure. Although I had an express mani/pedi, she was very thorough and did not rush. She is a warm, sweet soul and I enjoyed talking to her so much. Im on day 12 of my mani/pedi and my polish is just now beginning to chip on my fingers. Ive washed many dishes, bathed my kiddos a lot, and had lots of swim lessons since Myla did my nails, and up until a couple of days ago they looked like Id just had them done! I dont know what kind of magic she did, but this is the longest Ive had polish stay on my nails. Im sold. Shes doing my nails from now on!

My high school daughter went in for a $45 haircut and came away with a $90 bill. Her hair was slightly damp on the ends from washing it at home earlier this morning and Ray charged to dry the hair. In addition, he straightened her hair even though her hair is naturally straight. She was surprised to see separate charges for a quick dry and an unneeded service. These added services should have been mentioned up front. When questioned, the Roswell salon pushed back saying they provided the service so she had to pay. My daughter then made things worse by adding a 20% tip because she was afraid to give less (a lesson learned I hope). I cant help but wonder if this was done because she was young or if it was done because their usual clientele dont mind the bill. Very disappointed.

I went in for a trim (my hair was super long almost to my waist) and layered. When I left my longest layer was close to my shoulders and my shortest layer was at my ears. I left crying and was clearly upset half way through the hair cut. I started crying uncontrollably it was so bad, and instead of offering me a discount on my service since I was clearly upset and told them I didnt like it, they gave me half off my next f***ing hair cut. Are u kidding me?!!! I have been so upset since I left, Ive never had a more terrible hair cut. Im embarrassed to even look in the mirror. Im completely devastated. Beware of hair cuts here. :(

I have been going to Sam Hiers at Joseph & Friends Aveda salon in Roswell for my brow wax and hair cut/style for several years and get consistent, quality service. I hardly ever have a wait, the receptionist offers a beverage upon arrival, Sam knows exactly what I like, gives great suggestions for my hair texture and suggests products that have worked very well for me. My brows always come out looking fantastic too. I feel like I can get in and out, but at the same time, working with Sam is definitely like having a fun girlfriend cut your hair. The conversation is always good. I would highly suggest using this Aveda salon!

well... I havent been to this location, however, I did look online for a good salon for my girlfriends birthday present, and bought a deal online with Joseph and Friends logo, and location. Have the receipt . She had to call for an appointment, and was told that they do not honor the deal I bought. Maybe , maybe not. Second call the clerk said that the deal was honored at whatever locatin they chose...quite a departure from the first answer. I wasnt looking for a deal however if they advertise online and I buy the advertisement, they should honor it. I will refund and advise all the people I know to avoid this place

I had the most relaxing afternoon at this very soothing spa. This is an Aveda salon which I like, but also a spa as well. The spa is separate from the salon in its own cozy section. The lights are dim, the music soothing, and there is fresh, cold water for you as you change into your clean robe and await your spa experience on the comfy couches. MiYo did my facial and she is just wonderful. She is professional and kind, and full of good positive energy. My experience was different than any other facial. It was both relaxing and invigorating and I left with glowing skin. I highly recommend this spa.

My stylist did a wonderful job with my hair and at the end of the day thats what matters when you walk out of a hair salon - that is the only reason I did not give this review a Poor-Fair rating. That said, the customer service wasnt great - I was put on hold three times and I could barely hear the receptionist over the background noise. When I was there, i noticed that there were TVs everywhere and they were all playing Real Housewives (I despise reality shows). I was also a little embarrassed by the stylists gossiping around me about other clients. I dont think Ill be going back.

THe best and the most excellent place to get service - I ve been going to Jahan for the last 10 years and there is no one like her. Jahan knows exactly what I want and I have always completely trusted her. She is super friendly and super understanding about every little detail. Every trip to this spa and with Jahan is worth every $$ I have spent. I always got great compliments on my hair and continue doing so. There is no one like her!!! Go see for yourself!!!!

Received a free haircut and blowout thanks to their special promotion posted on social media. It was my first time here. Superb service. My stylist was Sasha. She is so sweet, really takes her time to not only perform the service, but listens to your request beforehand...unlike other salons where they rush! My bob cut looks great! The staff is also very friendly. Definitely recommend this place! Try it if youre looking for a new place. -B. Dilipkumar

I had the greatest expierence at Joseph and Friends when I had my hair cut and hi-lites at their newest location right off of highway 9. What a Convenient location right next to Target near my house! I also had a Green Science Facial and waxing done by Marlyne and she was fabulous too! I will definitely keep going back there and ask my family to buy me gift certificates from them from here on! The staff is friendly and courteous as well!
