A review from my fiancé. I called a couple of places yesterday before calling Regis and actually had an appointment with ANOTHER salon. The woman I spoke to on the phone said it would only be $75.00 so I opted to cancel my other appointment and went with Regis. My stylist’s name was Yvette. She seemed very cold and did not introduce herself. She just said, “Are you ready?” She showed me the hair color booklet, I told her which one I would like. She asked me if I was sure “because that seemed really dark”. I told her, “yes, thats the color I would like”. She replied with a drawn out," ooooookaaaaay Ill be back, Im going to mix it". She came back and asked if I was having anything else done, cut, highlights, lowlights, etc. I told her no, just an all-around color for $75.00. Her mouth gaped open and she kind of laughed (while holding the brush in her hand that already had the dye on it). "Ill tell you now its NOT going to be $75.00, your hair is long and Im going to have to use about 3 or more bowls of dye on your head. Why would you think $75.00?! Its going to be more. Then she places the brush with dye on my hair before I even had the chance to speak. So much for backing out now! “Well, I called this morning and the woman I spoke to on the phone told me it would be $75.00. If I would have known I would be paying more, I would have kept my other appointment”, I said. Just then the woman who took my call (who apparently was a stylist as well) came around the corner and told Yvette that she did tell me that it WOULD be $75.00. They went back and forth about this for a few minutes, the other stylist said to just go ahead and give me that price and Yvette was furious. (Mind you, my daughter was there for the whole thing.) Yvette kept talking about it while shes slopping dye on my head and also saying, "well, Ill just stretch this bowl of dye and make it work, Ill make it $75.00 worth. She ended up dying my hair in the shampooing sink, rubbing it in my hair like you would if you bought a store bought box dye. She continued to complain about the hair color I had chosen and talked with other stylists saying, “Look how dark her hair is”. After she washed the dye out and told me to go back to her chair so she could brush and dry my hair. Suddenly she seemed really nice, I guess because she wanted a tip. I looked at my daughter and told her to grab my purse and that we were finished. Yvette said, "well I can dry your hair". I DID NOT want that woman touching my hair ANYMORE. She continued to reach for my hair in an attempt to brush and dry it as I was gathering my things. I put my hair in a ponytail. I wanted to get out of there. I paid my $75.50.... and I WILL NEVER BE BACK.

I have been here a couple of times. It can be hit or miss until you find someone you like who cuts your hair right. As a guy, its on the expensive side, but based on the feedback from coworkers and friends, it makes a difference (went from "Nice haircut" to "Wow I really like your haircut. It looks great!"). They always have their products in stock, though I wish theyd let employees use products other than just the Regis brand products.

I made an appointment to get rid of dark roots and a few grey hairs. It looked fine inside, until I got into the sun, and realized that I now had MORE grey streaks in the exact spots she put my foils. When I walked back inside to talk to her about it she argued with me! This was a Mothers Day gift from my husband, and the stylist ruined my hair, now I will have to spend another $120 Just to get it fixed, ridiculous!!!
