Last year, my cousin was murdered. I sank into a deep state of depression. I could hardly get out of bed. When I had to go to work, I existed on sodas and candybars. I started gaining weight mostly in my stomach, so I looked pregnant. I would start weight loss program after weight loss program but something else would happen that would send me back into the depression. In January, I looked at myself....how miserable I looked and felt. I knew that I had to pull myself out of it. I dont remember how I found Pam but I am so grateful that I did. I joined her 90 day transformation. She sat me down and gave me a full hour of her time. We discussed what it would take to get me back in shape, she took measurements and I weighed in. She discussed nutrition and supplements and sent out emails weekly keeping us pumped up. I have worked out with trainers before but nothing like this. I personally did very little cardio throughout the 90 days. I worked out 2 days a week with Pam or Lucy. They run you through a circuit for me it was mainly lower body and I did upper body at home. Do not look at the purple equipment and feminine touches of this gym and think that it is going to be a frilly girly workout. I have NEVER been through such an intense circuit in my life! It was a challenge throughout the 90 days. Pam really knows what a womans body needs to lose weight and gain muscle. It was truly an amazing experience. Today was my final weigh in. I lost 14lbs of fat and gained 4lbs of muscle. I went from 30% body fat to 21%. I lost 15 inches from my body. But the most rewarding thing here is not the amount of weight or inches that I lost. It is the way I FEEL . My body is lean and I feel strong both physically and mentally. I have an amazing amount of energy and it is no longer a chore to pull myself out of bed. In fact, I jump out of bed earlier with a smile on my face. To say that I now have my life back is an understatement. I have recommended Pam and the Fitness Divas to all of my friends and clients. They are definitely one of Atlantas best kept secrets.

I had been fit most of my life however after turning 40, it became extremely hard to stay motivated due to job stress, hormonal changes, and just being complacent. Unfortunately in the process I gained 50+ lbs. from being at my ideal weight. I had tried many times to get back on track but after 3-4 days, I would find any excuse to cheat and be back where I was, feeling more discouraged. Yes, it was the true version of insanity… doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. After being totally disgusted and ready to try anything at the beginning of this year, I surrendered and joined the” Fitness Diva’s 90 day Challenge”. To be honest, I didn’t really think I would be able to stick to it but I became more and more motivated after seeing consistent results week after week. I followed Pam’s plan for nutrition and work-outs for 90 days. I lost 15 lbs in one month and a total of 34 lbs and 25 inches after 90 days. My cholesterol level also decreased 40 points. Because of the intensity and style of Pam’s work-outs, I saw results very quickly. Pam and her staff’s work-outs challenge me and my body in a way I could not do for myself. The intensity of the work-outs provide cardio benefits as well which I consider a more efficient use of my time. After the 90 days, 34 lbs, and 25 inches, I don’t see my body as just a smaller version of the same shape but a transformation of my body in progress which motivates me to continue working to achieve my goal weight. Fitness Diva is an upbeat all female environment with women of all sizes with different goals. Pam’s extensive knowledge along with the positive environment, make Fitness Diva a very unique offering in the arena of personal trainers and facilities. She has seen and heard all the fad diets and work-outs but consistently teaches nutrition and trains the way she knows is proven to achieve permanent results. No matter what your fitness goals are, Atlanta Fitness Diva is the place to be!! I have been training with Pam for a few years already and my goals have changed a few times over the years. When I first started training with her I had no clue what I was doing, I had no idea the importance of weight/strength training, and much less, how very important recovery is after a challenging training session. During the first 2 months I dropped about 3% body fat, and after a few more months of following a strict routine I started seeing major changes in my body. For a while I maintained since it just got harder, but Pam knew exactly how to get me out of that plateau. Last year I got pregnant, and although I continued working out and tried to stay in the best shape possible, my body fat went up again and I lost the tone in my body. I knew as soon as I had my baby that I would be going back to Atlanta Fitness Diva! In the last 3 months I have managed to lose 11.5 inches all over, 11 LBS of fat, 7% body fat. I not only gained 6 LBS of muscle, but also strength, and confidence. I’m now much stronger than I was even before I got pregnant. With these results, in what I consider a short amount of time, I am so motivated to just keep going! At Atlanta Fitness Diva you will always: be MOTIVATED, be CHALLENGED, have FUN, and FEEL GREAT. The trainers are really the best, always making sure to SAFELY get you out of your comfort zone, only to make you BETTER with each workout. I have been going to Atlanta Fitness Diva for six months and noticed improvements in my strength, the way I feel overall, and in the quality of my sleep. I have exercised sporadically throughout my life (I’m not one of those really fit people who has been going to a gym all her life), so I was concerned at first that I might feel out of place here. However, there are people at all different fitness levels working out here, and the trainers are happy to adjust workouts if you have injuries or need modifications. The workouts are varied, which keeps me from getting bored. The trainers are always open to answering questions, giving advice, and correcting the way you perform the moves, if needed. I’ve mainly worked out with Pam and Lucy, but every trainer there brings something unique to the table. Lucy is very high energy and provides comic relief during the workouts, which makes working out more fun. Pam somehow knows when I’m not pushing myself enough and doesn’t let me get away with it. What a workout! I also like the way you schedule your sessions online. I have been using their site for six months and have occasionally had to cancel sessions, and I have never encountered any issues with the number of sessions remaining in my packages. I am a “slow and steady wins the race” person, so I just do my regular workouts a few times a week and have never participated in the challenges. However, I’ve seen some others go through major transformations in the six months I’ve been going there-- particularly the ones who do the challenges. If you like varied workouts from high-energy, knowledgeable trainers, this is the place for you.
