Seems decent so far. Went in to check it out and mgr told me the company replaced most of the employees. And from these reviews I am wondering if they got all new gear too. PROS: Equipment is top of the line and NEW. Some popular pieces have light wear/tear on the fabric. They have TWO rooms to stretch in - thank God, no one else in the area does, except maybe LA Fitness - and I am not a fan of LA Fitness. They have lots of equipment, high quality locker rooms with tiled showers, mirrored sink counters to get ready with hair dryers (cheap but who cares, at least they have them!), plenty of clean, lockable lockers, 3 toilets on the girls side, a large free weight area, and two cardio platforms on perpendicular sides of the gym, with tons of cardio equipment! (I was pleasantly surprised coming over from Fitness 19, but being used to a large Golds Gym, Ballys, or LA.) And they have something I have never seen before! A MOVIE THEATER cardio room! A darkened room with treadmills, ellipticals, and a couple of stair steppers. Wow. So if you dont want people to see you burning calories, or youre just a movie buff - its pretty cool. Been around gyms for a long time and this is a first. Also, the price is pretty amazing for all the benefits available. They told me they have classes, and that ZUMBA is starting next week!!!!!!! Yaaaaay! And most classes are included in membership (like zumba!). TIPS ON ZUMBA: Zumba is amazing fun! It is a group hip-hop/step dancing class, fun for girls and GUYS too. Sweat more than after running 6 miles. Fun too, so the workout part is easier! If you want to try it, best tip is to count the steps in sets of 4 OR 8. Patterns of steps are created in a count of 8. So you will see it repeat the same pattern, or go to a new 8 count pattern. For me its easier to cut that in half and count to 4. So two counts of 4 per step pattern. OK. Now for CONS: The contract was not explained to me correctly with cancelation, and there are additional charges that I was not informed of. So I am going back to discuss this with them as I just signed up. Thanks for reading, please pardon any grammar mistakes, wrote this on my touch-screen phone. Hope this was helpful. This gym is a great find. It is coed, not just girls fyi. Best of luck.

I have been a member for a month now and I have enjoyed the experience. I went in with the specific purpose of signing up with a personal trainer 2-3x week as I knew that was the only way I am going to loose the weight I need to loose!! I have tried for the last year to loose weight only to gain 10 lbs!! TIme to get serious. While others have said they felt pressure to sign up for training, I cant comment on that because that is what I wanted. I love my trainer - he was a little stiff for me at first but we have gotten to know each other and he is very interested in my weight loss and training and encourages me regularly. He has also helped my son who has the opposite problem - too skinny!! The equipment is in great shape - looks realatively new - the place is clean and well kept. Other members of the staff are very friendly, recognize me and always greet me. The people that workout there are what I call really normal people. They are there to workout and not to meet up with anyone or show off or otherwise. Being in my 50s and overweight I dont feel the least bit uncomfortable as I work out. That was going to be a big concern of mine at places like LA Fitness. I have never been a member of a gym before and this has been a positive experience. First month and I am 7 pounds down and measurements are next week.

After reading the many reviews from others, I totally understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion so Id like to share my own experience. My family joined in December 2014 and decided 2015 was the year to invest in ourselves. Ive enjoyed our membership because of the sense of community & diverse clientele in the gym. There have been countless encounters with other members encouraging us and complimenting our progress. The staff and trainers are nothing short of amazing...my 9 y/o daughter looks forward to giving them "high 5s" and progress updates. As a family, we are able to work out during the same time frame without feeling confined to the same activity. My hubby enjoys the weights; I enjoy the sessions with the best trainer in the world (James); and our daughter has playmates in Zumba and the kids club. Our life has drastically changed & improved from "couch-surfers" to an active family looking forward to all life has to offer. We are no longer bound with the idea that "we cant." We are living proof that you get out of the community what you put into the community. Regardless of the costs involved, WE are improving the quality of our lives at Just Fitness 4U Snellville.

Unfortunately this review would have been a positive one if my husband and I had our accounts handled professionally. This is not the case. When we signed up and during the time we used the facilities, we were very pleased and the staff was helpful and friendly. We moved away from this location and asked to cancel our membership since the drive is inconvenient to where we now live and work. We were told we could not cancel because we still live within 25 miles of the gym. We live 18 miles from the gym. Fine, we asked to buyout our contract. Essentially, we offered to give them all the money would we pay each month for the rest of our contract upfront. We were told we could not buyout the contract. During this time several managers have given us the run around promising to help, contact corporate, waive fees, etc. Up to this point in time, none of them have stayed true to their word. They will not return phone calls or emails. I am still being charged and have no idea how to get out of this contract. Please stay away from this nightmare and take your business elsewhere. Or else pickup at home workouts. Thats all I can afford right now.

The contracts and management are very deceptive. There is a great deal of fine print in the contracts that allows them to continue to charge you a membership fee (and the additional $50 annual fee) even after you have cancelled your membership. If you do elect to obtain a membership with this gym (which I do not recommend) DO NOT sign up for a personal trainer. Upon signing up for a gym membership the staff will attempt to coerce you into a personal training contract. This is a strong source of revenue for them so they will gloss over critical portions of the contract that might discourage you from signing. It is impossible to get out of the yearlong contract and they will continue to charge you $100 per month because they do not allow contract cancellation for any reason. Be very careful. Much of the staff is pleasant and easy to work with but management has a tendency to be rude and unprofessional. I would not risk signing on with this gym again. There are too many other gyms in the area with commensurate or finer facilities and more flexible membership options that do not require the use of deception to gain clientele.
