I will never forget the owners of this repair shop. They were on their way to visit their grandchild who was in the hospital and my car would not start. I was at Walgreens in Winder Ga, went out to my car to find it would not start. My daughter was having an allergic reaction to a food and I was about to take her to the doctor. They took the time to figure out what was wrong (defective battery), called a friend to bring a battery from local store where they get their supplies, the store sold the battery to them at their discounted price, and they did not charge me a mark up. My new battery was delivered, Russell Vandeford installed it, and I was able to take my 1 year old to the doctor. They would not accept a dime for helping me. I can not express the true kindness towards others this couple has, but I will tell you I will take my car there when I need something done. They helped me when they could have rushed off because their own grandbaby was in the hospital. Thank you so much Mr. & Mrs. Vandeford!!!

I had recently purchased a 2004 Honda Element, and was hearing noise from the engine that sounded bad. I called Southern Charm after reading other reviews online and they told me to bring it in right away and they would look at it. That was on a Saturday when most other shops were not open. Two mechanics looked at, listened to, diagnosed the problem (water pump) and repaired, and had me back in the vehicle first thing after the weekend. The people there in every way, from the first call to confirmation of payment after repairs and all the way along ARE EXCELLENT! I have vast experience with auto repair shops from AAA towing in the past and I will only take my car to them if something doesnt feel or sound right. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I wanted to wait to give a review, and the repairs have resolved the problem so my review is TWO THUMBS UP!!

Drove my truck there for a 3 day engine replacement..3 weeks later had it towed to a real shop.Southern Harm said I needed a new computer..but turns out the SECOND engine they installed must have been used as a boat anchor and everything was corroded from water damage,firing order was backwards old busted motor mounts reinstalled,and the list goes on.After fixing all that the motor has low compression and a severe slack timing chain causing low power and a misfire.So now I am back where I started.Plus my working AC is now out of Freon from them not pulling a vacuum and replacing it after.Would not ever recommend them or even change the air filter on my car.Skeptical if these good reviews arent the owners and friends and family.

Fantastic ....I am a single mother, and as a woman it is very difficult to find a trustworthy shop. I trust Southern Charm Auto 100%. The owners are wonderful, honest, good people. They offer competitive prices, and excellent service. Their staff is knowledgeable , and as attentive as the owners. Last month, I brought my car in for a "road trip check", as I was going to visit family out of town , alone with my children. The car checked out great, and at no charge to me. Southern Charm Auto cares about the work they do, as well as the customers they are providing service too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SCA for all of your vehicle service needs.

I dont live in the area but, my mom lives in Winder. A few weeks ago, her car needed some work done but, it couldnt be driven to the shop. Calling around to different shops in the area this shop was the best one that provided services that I needed: towing partner at a discount, personal service with a capital "P" and going beyond normal auto service expectations. They have a customer for life - my mom has other auto repairs thats needed and I will see them soon. Great Service!

It was not a good experience the customer service is horrible they had my truck for over a week not once did anyone call and give me an update on the status of my truck. So I finally went up their and my truck is still doing the same thing it was doing when I brought it in. Now I am taking it to some that can handle the job. I think it is to small of a shop to do anything besides small simple jobs Like oil and brakes

I just had my engine replaced on my Hyundai Tiburon, my car is now just like new! I am very pleased with the Service and the Price! Honest and Friendly people there, I highly recommend Russell and his staff for any auto repair needs! I will definitely use Southern Charm Auto again!!!
