Ive been a planet fitness member for 4 years and I live in Atlanta. I keep odd hours and sometimes need to squeeze in a workout when the other atlanta area gyms close so I drive the 45 minutes to an hour to Woodstock to use the planet fitness there thats 24/7. When I went, I offered to give the representative my barcode number since it fell off my keychain (as I normally do with no issue ) and he informed me that it was cancelled ( turns out that when I transferred my membership to Atlanta the previous week my barcode changed and I was never given it) so I tried to pull it up on the planet fitness app and he said it was cancelled too when I gave him the barcode from there ...I then pulled up my bank account where the fee was deducted for the month and he informed me there was nothing he could do, so considering I just drove an hour to workout I ended up paying a 20$ guest fee (that I had to inquire about) just so it wouldnt be a wasted trip... As a rational human being I would consider a bank draft from planet fitness proof of my membership, I would empower my employees to make smart decisions that are right for my customers, and not to stand behind some policy when its blatantly obvious my membership was paid and valid, I just lacked the barcode ! So I paid the guest fee, and I wasnt rude or argumentative, and Im sure victor didnt mean to come across as apathetic but it was obvious he really didnt care how long I drove or what other proof I could give of membership. It just rubbed me the wrong way the way it went down -- I mean he could have said "just pay the guest fee today and in the am call and get your barcode and we will refund it" I would have been happy with any effort to help me-- or maybe even a little empathy about the situation but it was obvious he really couldnt care any less. The first time I came to this gym he check me in as well and I remember him coming across similar.. Not a great experience.

Thieves and unprofessional at its finest! I have never been to this gym (not even to pick up my key card) since I signed up because right after I joined online I was told that I have to have surgery. Now I did what I was suppose to do to cancel my membership. l had my husband drop off my letter from my Dr stating that I can not work out to a young lady named Aubry, so I was under the impression that my account was closed until they took out another payment. Thats when I spoke with the manager Chris who said that he never received it, so thats when I went to my Dr office and watched him call to get their fax number and fax it directly to them, so i thought my account was closed again, but then another payment was taken out on the 27th of August for Aug and then they ran my card again on the 29th for another payment for Aug. Now Chris states they didnt get no payment and basically called me and my statements a lie. Now I had to draw up an cease and desist letter to go to court if they charge my account again. I will have someone recording me when I take them my Dr letter and my bank statements to them again myself and wish Im told that they didnt receive it for the last time. Please pay attention to your bank account!

I LOVE this gym. I started about two weeks ago, and have been almost every single day since to work out and tan. I dont understand why people ever say that Planet Fitness doesnt have all of the important machines you need to get in shape. This location has literally everything you would ever need to get in shape and even multiples of the same machines so that no one is ever left waiting. It is always kept spotless, the air conditioning is always on, I feel safe walking to my car at night outside from the gym - and my personal favorite part, is that the tanning beds are so nice and have brand new bulbs. I have worked at a high end tanning salon and gone to many in my life, and these beds (you get stand up AND lay down) are just as nice if not nicer than the ones you pay $60+ a month for. I honestly dont think Ill ever go to another gym again. You cant beat the $20/month price. Yes, they deduct $39.00 from your account ONCE a year. But if you do the math, that literally makes it $23/month for 12 months for unlimited 24 hour working out and tanning. That is a fantastic deal. Cant wait to get into the best shape of my life here!

Great and simple place to workout, as long as you dont mind using smith machines in place of a normal squat rack and arent a very advanced body builder needing 300lb dumbbells this gym has everything you need. Everyone giving this place bad ratings are those people who complain about everything in life and most of the complaints are their own mistakes. I paid 1 dollar down, and 20 dollars a month to be able to workout out anytime, any location and bring a guest with me. Id take this over 50-100 dollars down plus 30+ a month for a gym with a pool that Ill never use.

Really enjoy the various options of this gym. In expensive, CLEAN, variety of work stations. And open 24 hours. I just wish they had scales. They state it is against their policy since it is "no gym intimidation" but they could offer them in a back room out of the way, for instance by the tanning beds for those of us that want to track our weight goals.

If I could give "most" the employees NO star I would. Rude everyday. Never make you comfortable. Never say welcome to Planet Fitness. I have complained to managers and the employees are still rude as could be. Very lazy. Always on their phones. Always eating. Select people who they are generous to. You shouldnt hate to come to a gym BC of the people.

Im a black card memeber and this location beats my "home" gym site. I love the equipment and areas they have. Love the fact they also have a stair master and battle ropes. Wish my home gym had these. No issues with ANY of the staff. Even met the trainer and did one work out. Will be visiting this location more often!

Im only here from 1-4am and its usually pretty quiet and good if youre self conscious. 1am is when all the groups of friends are leaving; 2-3am is when all the self conscious, dedicated young adults come in; 4am is when all the self conscious old people come in. Staff doesnt ever interact with you, which is nice.

Im a previous Black Card member and went in today to sign back up. Chris the manager who I spoke to was a lousy salesman. He had no enthusiasm or interest in my business. I want to join back so I can workout with my mom and sister( both Black Car Members). I will just take my business back to LA Fitness.

Great place to workout. Staff seems nice, theyve never been rude to me. Everyone does their own thing. I dont ever feel pressured. The showers, changing areas and lockers are very clean and nice to use. This place has many bad comments but its a very good gym. Always open, which works for my schedule
