Great gym: great classes, motivated and informative trainers/class teachers, no issues with equipment, and the facilities are always clean. Heres my problem: why has the A/C in the group fitness room not been fixed for two months now in the middle of the summer? I should not have to worry about heat exhaustion while working out indoors. The humidity today in the morning group fitness class was over 50% and temperatures were above 76. This was at 9:45 in the morning. Wade Green and East Cobb locations not only have working A/C but they also have giant power fans for added comfort. Weeks ago had a 1 diameter fan for a day until the metal blade broke off and has been out of commission in a corner of the room ever since. I would like someone from management or corporate to please reach out to me and tell me how this will be remedied.

I cant believe that young, dumb girl "Sandra" said the gym sucks because she got arrested for "inviting too many friends". Um, hello? You cant invite a bunch of rowdy, unpaid "guests" to take up my space and the space of other paid guests. You mooching dummy! Good riddance! This gym is pretty good. The staff is friendly and they do a pretty good job keeping things clean. The basketball crowd sometimes makes a mess in the locker rooms, but it gets cleaned up pretty quickly. The b-ball crowd is at their worst right after Sprayberry HS lets out. This gym has more of a diverse crowd of patrons than other locations, but everybody tends to rerack weights and adhere to general gym etiquette. Some of the cardio equipment needs updating, but the weight machines and free weight area are more than adequate.

The gym is fine, nothing special but worth my monthly membership. Usually clean and in working order. I will say the staff is nothing to be desired. When you walk in the front door the staff is usually on their cell phone, bouncing a basketball, talking to another staff member, etc. After a few seconds they will look up and mumble, what they say I have no idea, they do not have eye contact and God forbid they smile and say something nice like.... (have a nice workout, hello, hows it going or anything), they scan your card and look back down. I have been a member at several gyms and this is the only one (location) in which their staff treats like you are a bother. Perhaps they should hire people with a personality and a nice demeanor. But that is just my opinion.

Very very unprofessional attitude. They try cheating you by complicating the downgrade of sessions of a personal trainer. They talk very rude when you feel that it is not fair the way they function and slyly add initiation and processing (2 seperate fees), saying the other one will be refunded...blaming that nice excuse for not wanting to work out. REALLY? It is a very competitive world and LA Fitness and their personal trainers are not the only ones in the world providing this service. Not a monopoly! They have no right to be judgemental about people when they cannot sell being transparent. The Gym is nice and clean but Attitude stinks!!

Best location, compared to four locations ive been to, which isnt much. The front desk seem nice, most of them say hi and bye to me. Im not sure why they dont just have the scanner there for guest to scan them selves in, its not really necessary for an employee to pick up the scanner every time a guest comes in. The pool and Jacuzzi are nice (when they arent broken are being cleaned. But that seems to happen at a lot of locations) the locker rooms need to be cleaned better and more often. Most of the equipment here are old and barely work. There is no vending machine for some reason.

This LA Fitness is by far better than the one in Conyers, GA, however it suffers from many of the same shortcomings. While it is cleaner, it too is populated with constantly malfunctioning treadmills from the 80s. Large sections of equipment are not available for use due to "safety concerns"(just replace them!), despite a large area dedicated solely to personal training with fancy new equipment that rarely gets touched. The high volume of members this gym has combined with the aforementioned and restrictive hours of operation can lead to very unpleasant and sometimes ineffective workouts.

The management keeps changing. A new manager - apparently Operational Manager wanted to show his authority and refused to let me in without an ID that I misplaced at home. Since there is a picture and phone associated with the contract; the picture and contract can be retrieved with the help of phone number,, the ID is just superfluous. . The brand new OM today refused to let me even when argued that he can look at my picture, and ( compare my signature on the contract ) to verify to let me in. This is lousy customer service

Horrible Staff and Manager. The staff will bring in their fast food and eat in the gym. They are always out of paper towels in the locker rooms. The service guy will spray down the equipment with WD40 while your using the machine..... There is thick black mold on the bottom edges in the hot tub (which is usually out of service). As long as you dont like to be greeted, enjoy the smell of taco bell with cardio, can handle Aliphatic and Petroleum fumes, and are not allergic to mold then this is the place for you.......

I liked LA until they showed me how much my business DOESNT mean to them. They let me walk out and cancel my membership after being a member for 2 years all because they refused to let my friend workout for ONE DAY because he couldnt get a guest pass and or pay $15 for a day pass!!!! WTF!??? Sadly theyve become another business that has gotten so big that customers dont mean as much to them and they dont care about you. Now I have to find a new gym hopefully the next one will give a crap about customers.

Definitely a better experience than some other locations Ive been. Conveniently located and plenty parking spaces. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ive been there several times and its a pleasant experience. Spacious layout of the gym and a nice floorplan. Especially the cardio fly-over is nicely done. Some equipment was out of order but minimal and plenty alternatives available. Very clean gym, including the showers and locker rooms. Juice bar is ok, nothing special. Overall Im happy with this location.

The only reason I signed up for this gym was the deal i got at the time and the proximity to my house. I was supposed to get a $50 gift card for signing up, which I never received. I only went for maybe a month and then never went back. This place is DISGUSTING!! I wouldnt want to touch half of the equipment let alone even step foot near that excuse of a "pool". I felt like Id get a staff infection by just breathing too close to it. It was never clean. This is the worst gym I have EVER been to.

The gym started out great with a great staff and was always clean. Now the gyms staff is rude always on the cell phones when you enter the gym. When i was disrespected by alexis the lady up front who was on her phone i asked to cancel my membership was told i cant bc the manager wasnt there and have to work around the managers schedule to cancel my membership. Ive been a gym member for 7 years and will now join another location or CRUNCH where the staff service is great and consistent.
