I tried this place 3 times and received a cut/color and eyebrow wax each time costing almost $300 each visit. This past time was the last straw when my stylists blamed me for her coloring mistake where she completely dyed the front end of my hair a bright white. She spent over 4 hours on my hair with no apologies and instead acted like it was my fault. I was also overcharged twice and was charged prices that were higher than whats posted on their website and was told that their website was "undergoing changes" yet they wouldnt honor their advertised prices and instead told me that I would receive a $10 credit on my next toner. My last appointment was the first appointment of the day so when I arrived the stylists werent out on the floor yet but I could hear them completely bad mouthing a customer to each other and no one bothered to welcome me until my stylist came out 15 minutes later. I wanted to like this place because I like the location but I feel like for the money spent at this place, I can find much better service elsewhere. I tried contacting the owner before posting this review but of course he failed to return my phone call.

I have been going to Salon Gloss for almost a year now and have been extremely happy with every appointment I have had there. When you walk in the door, there is always someone there to cheerfully greet you and make you feel they are sincerely glad to see you, typically that is Kerri, she is amazing! I have never felt like just another client for the day. Everyone is so friendly and acknowledges you with a smile and a genuine "hello." The salon itself is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean and the atmosphere is relaxed. The service I receive during my appointment is great, the staff is very attentive and makes sure you are comfortable, happy and asking if you need anything, etc. The quality of the haircut and color is bar none the best I have experienced. The biggest compliment I personally receive is the number of people who comment on how nice my hair looks and want to know where I have it done. I always look forward to my appointments at Salon Gloss and highly recommend everyone schedule an appointment and give them a try-you will not be disappointed and will also look forward to your next appointment!

LOVE Salon Gloss - especially for weddings! Both Jennifer and Will came up to the Georgia mountains for two of my daughters weddings. Each time they brought their best - did an amazing job on each girls hair and make up on the individuals who requested it. We were stunning I must say! For my first daughters wedding, it was the most blustery day in Georgia - winds were really strong. The wedding was outside, but all of us looked amazing throughout the ceremony and afterwards! The girls updos stayed together the entire day and night, and looked beautiful! Makeup looked as nice as when it was first completed still at midnight! Thank you Will and Jennifer! We love you! I would highly recommend!

I have been with Tim and Salon Gloss for almost 2 years. Ive got stubborn grey and their brand of color provides great coverage, doesnt make your eyes water with a lot of ammonia, and doesnt fade. Ive had my hair cut and colored by Amanda, Will, and Tim. I think thats saying a lot when you can see 3 different stylists and walk out each time with fantastic results. You know youve found your salon home when everyone (man, woman, young, old) stops you to give you a compliment. Im so glad theyre moving from downtown to their other new salon on Town Lake Parkway. I love DT Woodstock, but parking can be a nightmare.

I moved here from TX where I had been seeing the same hairstylist for the past 9 years. So moving is already stressful enough and looking for a new salon even more stressful. I tried several before finding Taylor at Salon Gloss. I love this salon, I feel like it is a special treat to get my hair cut there. The girls at the front desk are always warm and inviting and Taylor is wonderful. She has tried new things with my hair that I have always been afraid of before. I would recommend this salon to any of my friends or even to people that I would meet on the street. Love, love, love them.

The best cut & color around. My colorist, Lindsay, consistently gives me the most personalized service. She treated me like I was her only client and really cared about how my color was going to hold & last until my next appointment. Zack cuts my hair and is so attentive. My hair is coarse and thick... I used to dread getting it cut. Until he cut my hair. I truly feel like my hair is in the hands of a professional team that cares about how my hair looks every day after I leave the salon. Absolutely love Salon Gloss! Even more that theyve moved locations. I have moved twice in the last 2 years, currently living in Cumming and I make the drive to Woodstock to see Jennifer here. She is the best and I have tried other places but no one cuts my hair like her! Theyve also opened up a spa attached to their salon with a nail salon to come soon! So come here if youre getting ready for a night out. Theyll do hair, makeup, massage, wax and soon your nails!

Cori has been cutting my hair for about 13 years now, and I have followed her all around town. She has been with Salon Gloss since they opened. I love the ambiance here and the top notch service I receive. I always receive compliments on my hair! Yes, the servives can be expensive, but i get personalized service and style and Cori knows exactly how to care for and style my thin, fine hair...and that is priceless! Cant wait to see the new location tomorrow!

I have been for two cuts, and a color. Staff treats you like family, giving you a hug and welcome when you enter. My hair has always looked beautiful, and stylists sit and listen to you to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. The owner walks through the salon periodically to make conversation and make sure you are enjoying your time. Staff is all extreme friendly and professional. I have finally found my salon in Woodstock!

Finding a good salon is not hard, but finding a good stylist is. After 6 color and cuts, I had to call it quits. For the money I was paying, my color was always great but the cut was never up to par. I thought I would try a few times so the stylist could get to know me and my hair type, but I need to move on. My last visit was $253.00 and a haircut that I could easily have received at Great Clips for $40.00.

It took me a while to find this salon, but I did a few years ago and have loved it since. I had one bad cut, but Tim went above and beyond to fix it. I usually see different people and have liked each one, but today I met Nicolie and I dont think I will ever need to see anyone else again. She knew exactly what would work best for my hair-type and had a great personality.
