~ EVERYONE PLEASE READ ~ Fairy godmothers are at work here! These wonderful ladies literally gave me a Cinderella transformation. (Story time!) Saturday was my senior prom and I could not be more excited. Every single thing was going right and I was out going to all of my appointment so I would not bother my loving parents who were busy on their own. Everything seemed perfect untill I stepped into Ulta for a 2pm hair and makeup application. I went to a consultation before hand with photos of what I wanted and they told me it would be $50. When I showed up for my appointment they started right away adding this and that to my face and doing my hair. Every time I looked in the mirror it seemed to get worse and worse and I was to afraid to ask for major changes. Ive never had my makeup done for me and I dont wear much at all so I did not know what to do. The session was cut short because my "artists" ride to a doctor appointment came to pick her up. With a final glance in the mirror I saw that I was turned into a plump looking Victorian doll whos hair looked like it was styled by a child. I was charged $100 and I went to my car and cried. I started trying to figure out what to do with the mess on such short notice. Thats when my mother suggested this life saving salon. I drove over as fast as I could and walked in. I was not even sure if anything could be done but I was ready to beg. These ladies took one look at me and sat me down in a chair. Then the owner herself came over, asked for my photos, and began to work her magic. All with the staff comforting me and telling me how brave I was for finding them and asking for help. My mother even came by and watched in awe as they transformed my hair into something so beautiful it put the photo to shame. Not only that but the ladies stayed past closing to redo my makeup! (Their makeup skills also put my photo reference to shame) I have never felt so beautiful and confident in my entire life! These people are real artist who helped make my prom night the best night of my life. These people did something so big just out of their own hearts and I am forever grateful. Please go to them first for anything to do with hair and makeup! You will find people with big and loving hearts. Thank you ladies so much again. I had the best night and felt like the best looking girl there! My date could not stop looking at me. Thank you, thank you, and thank you! :)

User Rating: 1 out of 5 stars by hair 05/15/2011 Worst experience ever . My appt was with owner, Liza, she was at least triple booked and did not perform service as promised. This happened both times I was there. She is also rarely there did not return my calls for days. She did redo the service but after I spoke to the product manufacturer, that should have never been done. When I tried to get some help from her just so I could live with my hair, she cancelled my appt and had her staff leave me an ugly unprofessional message refusing to do anything. Main reason I am so angry is the owner introduced herself in the community to me and promised she had the best product and that she would do it for a great price. I like to support local businesses because I work for one so I gave it a try, worst mistake I ever made, when I made an appt for a 250.00 service I specifically ask if she would be doing it and she assured she would, a complete lie, even the second time she did not complete the service cause once again i counted 3 people and a bride coming in at the same time. One positive note, her staff tried to help and were very apologetic about her, even comparing her to a Dr. who charges that kind of money and spends 5 minutes with you, then passes you to a lower paid assistant. I had to purchase another 98 dollars worth of product so that my hair would not look and feel like straw. So 3 weeks and 350 dollars later my hair is barely manageable only with a ton of product which the main reason for getting the keratin treatment is so you so not have to spend hours on your hair. I have had the treatment done 2 times in the last year at another salon and absolutely loved it. Not only was my hair soft and manageable, it required no additional products, and it was 100 dollars cheaper, so I know what my hair should be like. My hair is ruined for the summer. Do not go there

I did not have a good experience at this salon. I arrived for my 1pm appointment and was ignored for 30 minutes before I was even greeted. There was a dog running around which was entertaining but not very salon like. Once I finally made it in the chair, the stylist I had was very cold/rude and I was immediately upset and should have trusted my judgment and left but I had an event that night and really wanted my hair done. We decided it would be best to do a sample strand on my hair to see how the color would take. This made me feel a bit better so I agreed but after 45 minutes sitting there with the color on my hair I was really scared and no one was around to reassure me that it was ok for the color to be on that long. My stylist had gone off to a massaging chair because her back hurt and I was worried she might have fallen asleep. After the color was on for over an hour she finally came back and washed it out. At this point I had already been in the salon for an hour and a half and we had not even started the color process yet. The owner finally stepped in and told her what to do and the color ended up turning out great but after sitting there for 3 hours putting up with a callous attitude I was over it and very disappointed. I will not go back even though the outcome was good the experience was horrible.

My wife and I both booked appointments with Liza. For my appointment they were not busy and although I loved my results, it took 4 hours. My wife was booked with Liza at 11am (apparently with 4-5 others). At 1:30pm she still had not even been seen. They finally put her in a massage chair and left her there. After being there for hours, another stylist was finally instructed to do her color (which she was talked into) until Liza could eventually get to her. It was supposed to be golden red and turned out burgundy. When Liza finally got to her (while she still went back and forth between her and 2 other clients), she did not really listen to what my wife wanted. My wife works all week with a long commute. It took over 5 hours of her precious Saturday to finally get out of there, and she was so stressed by the whole miserable experience and her results the weekend was ruined. Liza is very friendly & means well, but she is very insensitive to her clients precious time. Extreme overbooking, leaving people waiting around for hours and hard selling people into extra services and product can not be made up for by groovy decor & good intentions. My wife is not happy with her $230 hair, and though I love my $100 final result, but we will not be back.
