Choosing IraandLucy was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. We used their Enhanced Day-Of Coordination package. We were on a tight budget and struggled with the idea of spending money on something that we couldnt quite conceptualize, but felt very strongly about not wanting our friends and family to have to set up and take down our wedding. Once we met Victoria we realized why we needed her!! Always sweet and professional, she is an excellent problem solver and helped us with some major issues right off the bat. She would come over, check on us frequently, and took the time to get to know us. I literally want to frame the concept boards she sent us - whenever the wedding seemed stressful I always would look at them because they reminded us of the important things we wanted, and looked like OUR wedding! On the wedding day, she and the team absolutely delivered. She shielded me from the chaos of a wind and rainstorm (for our outside reception) and the team actually ended up moving everything inside and back outside again when the weather cleared up. It was so much extra work for them and the whole team remained professional and on the ball the entire time. All the other vendors absolutely loved them. Victoria quietly and calmly presented us with options whenever something went wrong and we were able to enjoy every second of our wedding. If you are on the fence like we were, it was the best money we spent. I feel like we cant thank her enough and we have made a true friend! Despite being able to handle huge luxurious weddings, they also were able to meet us where we were at for our smaller, rustic wedding and never pushed our budget. In fact, Victoria suggested many ways for us to save money that we hadnt considered. Im positive she went above and beyond for us multiple times, and dont want to make promises outside the packages offered, so I will just say if you have Victoria on your team, you will not regret it! I wish I got a picture with her on our wedding day!

Hire a wedding planner. Just do it. Since Bry and I live in Denver, and our wedding was taking place in our home state of Idaho, we hired an Idaho based wedding planner named Heidi and her companys name is Ira & Lucy. Heidi was an angel sent from the heavens, let me tell you. My wedding probably would of taken place in a Zurchers parking lot if it wasnt for her. I know what youre thinking, "Wedding planners are expensive" or "Ill just DIY my wedding" unless you are Martha freaking Stuart you cannot physically DIY an entire wedding, unless your guest count is around 10 people. Hiring a wedding planner was worth the money, seriously. And especially if youre getting married in a different state from which you reside.

Heidi and her team are the best decision I made for my wedding! Not only was my wedding beyond my wildest dreams but her team was so attentive the entire night holding my train, keeping us informed of what was coming next, and always making sure we were happy. Everybody knows finding time to eat at your own wedding can be next to impossible, but Heidi made sure my husband had more than enough of his favorite foods throughout the night (the only thing he wanted decision making power over). Heidi is nothing short of perfect and my husband and I will appreciate her forever! We love you Heidi!

I cannot describe how valuable Heidi and her team are to a wedding. As a groom, I was skeptical because I thought my bride and her mother were more than capable of handling it. I was wrong! Truly blown away by the organization and skill set of her and her team. They took all my wifes decor and made it look amazing. They kept the whole wedding moving smoothly as well from a coordination standpoint. We had many people come back and say it looked like a movie set. Absolutely Incredible! The team at Ira & Lucy is amazing!!! I cannot say enough positive things about my beautiful wedding! I provided Heidi with a very vague idea of what I wanted (farmhouse rustic winter wedding) and she took my idea and turned it into an absolutely stunning evening!! Every vendor she recommended was top notch. Her team pulled all of the details together and the entire evening was flawless. I had several guests compliment the décor, the food, the cake.
