I like the new location the new equipment the hydro therapy machines awesome, but recently lost my lock tried to buy one there and the staff had no clue where they were. Today I left my fitness tracker in the shower stall 3 next to the handicap one ( could not be more specific than that. So i called in and asked if someone could grab it for me i was busting a uturn to come get it and the staff said sure well check if its still there. When i got there they said it was gone and one even joked about "You aint going to get that back " to give my self reassurance i walked back to shower 3 next to the handicap one and go and behold it was there right where i left it. walked out laughed at them and said thanks for checking got a smart a** answer from one of the girls like was in in the toilet stall? i said no and to not be able to understand that much detail , may be an issue . Said have a great day and noticed i got mad dogged the whole way out... I like the gym just cant seem to find anyone when im trying to use the Hydro machine usually got to wait about 5 minutes before someone walks back to the front but it is like 6am at that time.. New gym is nice, some staff just there to be there. Although i have seen a trainer walk around and help random people with form on their workouts which is great didnt get his name, but i will next time.

Was a great gym at one point. To me, I think they switched management and the screening process for employees drastically deteriorated. I went in there like I usually do and they had these employees, who were dumb as a rock. I went in there to ask a question and the guy said hold up and went over to talk to his buddy that works out there for a good 5 minutes before he came and helped me. I literally was going to ask him what was the best time to come in for a uninterrupted workout but he answered my question with how big of a dick he was and it was never, so I ended up cancelling my membership right after his conversation. I told him that he shouldnt make a customer wait to go talk to a buddy and that would royally screw him over in life if he is ever looking for employment somewhere else. Literally the worst gym on the planet. If you want a good gym, go to L.A Fitness, they will not do this crap to you. It may be 30 bucks a month, but it keeps the Riff-Raff out.

Ive been to my fair share of Planet Fitness locations. This is by far one of the worst. Just because we pay a low monthly membership fee doesnt mean we should feel like we are working out in a shitty gym. (And thats not all Planet Fitness locations, this one gives the rest of them a bad rep) This one on Lake St...Small. Cheap looking, Poor Customer Service and filthy. Dont waste your time going here. I walked in today for the first time and walked right out. This one doesnt compare to the Planet Fitness on Gary Ave just 4 miles further. I waited forever at the desk to get checked in and the employee didnt even notice me. And the tanning rooms look like booths. I tell ya, go to the other one at least the staff there greets you, its more spacious and there are tanning ROOMS.

So today I was super hyped about joining planet fitness. Unfortunately when I got there it smelled BAD. Im giving it three stars because I havent worked out there YET, since my dad was the one to get a membership there. To be honest I was debating to join after that because Im a dedicated gym rat, but money is low. In the bright side the staff was helpful and I couldnt help it but to press the sad face at the end of my visit (creative feedback method). Please fix this because the gym seems nice, but looks arent everything. Im also pleased by their createtivity. I am still going to come through and bare the smell for a month. Thank you!

Been going here a few months. Love it! Here you dont have to worry about the " model" types you see at meat markets like Ballys. Here you see your average / normal looking everyday people who just want to better themselves. Place is super clean with lots of machines and the staff is super nice and helpful. Being open 24 hrs is also a big plus since i have a crazy schedule with work and school. And whoever said this is a " gay spot" is obviously an ignorant homophobe. Because not only have i not seen this but if someone were gay, so what? The ventilation here is good also. Not stuffy at all.Plus for $10 a month you cant beat that!

Note: This review is for the new Planet Fitness that recently opened in Addison by the intersection of Lake St and Mill Rd. This gym has everything you need to get into good shape. All new equipment, a locker room with showers that are on par with that of Lifetime Fitness, and friendly and helpful staff. For a Planet Fitness, and for $10 per month, this new installment far exceeds my expectations. I will not workout anywhere else. To the management of the new Addison Planet Fitness: Keep it up!

The new location is absolutely terrible. To botch a brand new location like this is embarrassing. They dont even have have the weight equipment to get a decent work out in. The weight area is tiny and jammed together where you cant even move. When i asked to tan which i have been doing at PF for years they told me bc it was a new location i could only tan for 2 min (what is the point of that). I will immediately transfer locations as this is the worst location of any gym I have ever seen

I do not find the gym to be stinky or dirty. However, I do feel SOME of the staff is TOO relaxed with how they interact. I personally am very laid back so I like that they joke around and are more open, but the other day, there was at least 4 staff members congregating and socializing while I waited at the front desk to get some help. I would just try to make sure all of the staff keeps it friendly but professional. Otherwise, I think its a great gym and never felt judged at all there.

The best Planet Fitness that Ive been to. As a Black Card member, Ive visited a lot of locations, and none have the Synrgy360, ropes, kettlebells, or fitness bands that are available at only this location. They also have the red light therapy room and typical tanning beds. Clean to boot! The only negative experience I have encountered was that a woman was cleaning the mens locker room while it was really busy. I didnt really mind, but I can imagine that some did.

Im a truck driver and by far this is the worst PF Ive been to. I didnt mind not having a variety of equipment due to the size of the place. I wouldnt use the restroom or the showers. Dirty, hair in every shower. The only employee working was the blonde in the yellow trainer shirt. The others three stood talking to two others friends with a small boy. When I went to the counter I felt like I was interrupting them. If this was my home gym I wouldnt have joined.
