Chicago Property Care

The facility itself is great for $10 monthly if that was ultimately the case. In sales there always needs to be honestly and transparency. A lot of these gyms simply have to rely on volume by design because of the nature of the market and the fact that there are hundreds of options to choose from for customers. The front desk people have to be trained by their managers or supervisors on how to be honest and direct when selling a client a membership. Not sharing or disclosing something (or saying it so freaking fast that its a blurt) is the same as lying. If there is a hundred dollars or so in additional fees or charges - then say so!! Big deal!! It ends up averaging $20 monthly for the customer. (Have faith that you have a good enough product that is worth the asking price!) But when you dont share that, you run the real risk of loosing a customer. I want to lift here because its right up the street from me but now Im so upset that Im willing to pay the unnecessary and shady "cancellation fee" of $75

My wife and I have tried twice to cancel our account since they closed our gym in Burbank and moved us to Alsip. First my wife was required to drive over 30 minutes to cancel the account in person, which she gladly did. They assured her the account was now closed and that we would no longer be charged. We were charged again the very next month. First we had to call the billing company, who couldnt do anything to help us and told us to call the gym. After a 15 minute hold on the phone, the manager assured us that NOW we would no longer be charged. And now I see that we have been charged again for a third time this month. Needless to say, we are very angry.

Absolutely horrible experience. Make sure you read every word of your contract before you sign it. There are HIDDEN FEES EVERYWHERE! The management doesnt care about customer service after you sign that piece of paper. If they wanted to keep people coming in they shouldnt purposely hide fees everywhere. They will lose several peoples business as a result of not refunding me for a renewal that I never agreed to when the salesmen sold me my membership. Again, read that teeny tiny little print before you give all your money away to Charter Fitness.

No water in the gym. Cant use bath room. Cant shower. No drinking water. And they have the nerve to charge $2 for water bottles. And $70 if i want to cancel my membership. Ill gladly pay the $15 more a month for LA Fitness. Manger left for 1.5 hours to go to the bank to buy some water and came back with nothing. They vacum 1 per week. Place is dirty. Stay away for this gym. Not enough bench presses. Machines are nasty! Because no water to clean them

I had stop going but they continued to charge, I had changed my debit card and you would think they would had informed me on the first missed payment! No they wait until it accrues and then sent you to collections... And worse of all they say they wont cancel membership until I pay for services I did not receive and was told the payments will continue to accrue! Bullshit assholes! This is illegal and they should be shut down! Will report to BBB!

Love this gym best charter around manager Jessica is hard working along with Garrett hes amazing and kind to everyone hes always keeping the gym clean. Picking up weights after those who dont put them back ha me sometimes.! Other workers are just the same girls talk to much to guys but the guys are guys n they both get things done when needed keep up the great work ✊

Cardinal Fitness is great for my family. The kids like the playroom. We like the hours, locations, and low cost. There are not enough treadmills at the one in Oak Lawn. Sometimes you have to wait for one to open up, but other than that it is a really good gym. Bathrooms are kept very clean, showers are nice too.

Pleasant experience from start to finish of workout. Was greeted at the door upon arrival, all machines were clean and functional as well as the changing/bathroom areas. Employees seem to really enjoy working at this facility and helping others. Great environment!

I love this gym, close to my home and great location. All the staff are very friendly and always greet you. Only thing is with my work schedule, I wish this location was open 24 hours. Otherwise, its always clean and doesnt smell.

Great GYM, LOCATION AND STAFF! I have been a member at charter fitness since the old location. I have to say I am very disappointed that GARRICK is not the Manager at the Alsip location. He deserves it better than anyone else!!!!!!

The picture on map view is old and doesnt show this location. But its where the Sear was. We pay under 25 a month. We get access to a clean gym with good machines and a non-disruptive environment. A great place to workout :)

Its a clean, reasonably priced gym with a decent selection of equipment. Its usually not too crowded and offers group classes and personal training for those interested. I would recommend for the general fitness enthusiast.

Always overcrowded at peek hours. Parking can be challenging at these times. Locker room floors need cleaning more often as there is always filth and garbage lying around. Otherwise a convenient location to workout.

Its spacious and clean. The patrons and employees are nice and welcoming. If you are looking for personal training, I highly recommend Garrick. Hes knowledgeable and will definitely kick your butt!

Never had a problem. Two decent squat racks, eight barbells, a million weight and cardio machines, big clean locker rooms, nice enough clientele. Cant beat it for the price.
