My experience with the staff was unsatisfactory. I went in to sign up for a membership, and they had no idea how to help me. This gym and location is listed as one that is covered by my health insurance. I liked what I saw online, so I decided to go in. I stood their for a while while they messed around on the computer, only to wait for them to tell me there was nothing they could do because they are a "new location". After nearly four months of being open, they should be educated on all aspects of their job. I wouldnt have been that frustrated, but there were no apologies for my time. When I asked to speak to a manager there was not one on duty, they did not even bother to tell me when one would be in. They also wouldnt give me an answer as to when I could come in and be helped. I understand that this issue may not even be the staffs fault, but they should be trained on customer service. Also, they should be taught how to use their system before they are left unsupervised. Its a shame because I really thought the gym looked nice, but I cant stand companies that dont value their clients. Sorry Planet Fitness, you lost a customer. Time to go back Charter Fitness!

here at planet fitness i dont feel judged. i can work out comfortably knowing that there will be no lunks invading our planet. At planet, i am welcomed by the amazing staff every time i come in, theres always a big smile and hello waiting for me once i enter the heavenly gates of planet fitness. there has not been a single problem with this gym. cleanliness is at a all time high compared to other gyms and supplies are well stocked. i love the feature of the lunk alarm and its capabilities to stop any potential lunkyness from happening. their fitness instructor josh is also very helpful. all the black card amenities are also very nice. i love the tanning for my pale skin, and the hydro massage is so relaxing for my aching bones after a workout. to conclude my heartfelt review of this amazing judgement free company, i will end it with a thank you. a thank you for all the fun experiences i had and to many more!

I joined a year ago and I have come 6 days a week since . 55 lbs lost and this has become a habit to walk thru the doors everyday . I have never joined a gym before and when I walked in I was so comfortable like I was at home , the good morning greetings and the have a nice workout greeting everyday is awesome and inspiring . The staff here loves their job . The music is at the right tone , the temperature is never to hot or to cold . I have seen them cleaning under the machines , wiping every nook and cranny down , Vacumn daily . This location is truly a judgement free zone ! I have gotten quite a few friends to join . I have never had a billing issue , I even signed my daughter up on her Xmas break and canceled when she went back to school and never had a problem . If I could give more than 5 stars I would !! I walked into Planet Fitness and up to the counter there was a young man behind the counter and all he did was look at me and never said a word. So I stood there and was starting to think maybe IawEm in the wrong place then a woman started to walk over to me and said "do you need something" well I didnt know what to say I guess I was expecting a "Hi, can I help you" which I felt would have been a warm welcome instead of the cold welcome I received. So, I told her no I dont want to fill out the form and I dont want the tour and walked out. I didnt want to join this club if the employees act like Im bothering them and I didnt feel welcomed. I shouldnt say all of the employees are bad because I only met one, but that one employee stopped me from joining this club

I was a member before I was an employee and I was always satisfied with the gyms cleanliness and smiling staff. The crew is amazing and tries their best to keep the gym as well maintained as they can. Members are even better, its always nice when they come up to the front desk with smiling faces just to talk about their day or to talk about how much they love the Tinley Park location. They put a smile on our faces and we are always striving to do the same! Cant beat the prices along with the cleanliness, massage chairs/beds, tanning beds + total body enhancement. Was not informed that they would cut your lock. When I asked an employee about it . I was verbally insulted By an employee and laughed at. They Put my belongings in a garbage bag and drug it across the floor. My 23.00 bottle of tanning lotion was missing. This happened on Thursday morning . And I have reached out a number of times and have not heard anything back yet. They say they are a judgement free zone . I left there crying and having a panic attack . Will be canceling my membership .

Snobby. Just started there, first time we went it was pretty friendly environment. We went back for our second time tonight and brought a friend to sign up and almost walked out. The staff there tonight were not very friendly and came off snobby. As my daughter says, they seemed very rude, impolite. We hope it was just a one time thing, but will happily go to any of the other gyms in the area if it continues. We only stayed because we had already talked our friend into going there.

Love this gym!!! Very friendly and welcoming staff and very reasonably priced. I was paying 30 dollars a month just to go tanning at LA Tan so when I heard about this deal for the combo I was sold. Ive been there for a about a year now and I couldnt be more pleased. Wish you guys would open in Homer Glen but other than that theres nothing I would change. LA Tan better reevaluate their pricing!

It is a slow start since the gym just started this year, but they have added wifi, and the staff is friendly. I am glad that their machines have the charger for all phones instead of just iPhone like other locations. I hope they get the hydro beds over the chairs and automatic toilets. The facility and machines are kept clean.

Love the people , atmosphere and being able to work out without anyone bothering me. The crew are very helpful and always are smiling no matter what time i come. I have been coming for a little over 5 months and have noticed a noh change in the way my clothes fit. Thanks Tinley Park Planet Fitness - you guys rock!

Planet fitness is by far the best deal you can come across. Obviously the weights and cardio. But also with tanning, red light therapy and hydro massage beds you just cant beat it around the area! And the staff rocks. No prrssure. Just workout, do what you do and head home. Best gym around!
