I am not sure this place even deserves one star. I am currently a member of the Palos Health and Fitness Center and will continue to be a member there even though I have moved far away from that facility. Why? Because Xsport Fitness is disgusting. I stopped in to just get a tour and was incredibly uncomfortable from the start. The guy giving me the tour was touching my arm/back etc. the whole time and it was creepy. He didnt even listen to what I was saying. He assumed he knew what I wanted (to lose weight) and didnt listen to my specific health concerns. After the tour which actually had no information in it, he tried to sign me up. I told him that I needed time to think and I am glad I did. The tour guide was telling me it was okay to lose an unhealthy amount in a short amount of time and was giving me outdated, untrue information. No understanding of diabetes/heart conditions etc (which I dont have but am trying to avoid) This place is not a good choice because it is A) Dirty. B) The trainer I saw was not using correct techniques for their client. C) Meatmarket. D) Little age and fitness diversity E) Money Hungry F) Not looking out for your best interest. G) Pushy (Just because I am in my 20s doesnt mean that the tour guide should have treated me disrespectfully.) **I highly recommend either Palos Health and Fitness or The Riviera County Club in Orland Park. These two places are nicer and cleaner, the former being absolutely immaculate. The facilities are better at Palos or the Riv and the people are truly looking out for your health. Palos is through a hospital and all of the personal trainers have degrees related to personal training, not just certificates. The Riv has some great trainers. Both have nice pools and good equipment. Palos is expensive (67 or so a month) but well worth it since there are so many great ammenities. The Riviera is around 50 a month. Cardinal Fitness in Palos Heights is good if you are on a budget as is the OLPD. Simple and not ridiculous. Forget Xsport if you can. Anyone rating this place over 2 stars has to be lying or works there.

First let me say yes Im still a member but only because its so close to my house but I no longer buy protein shakes or any products from there period. They are loseing thousands a year from me alone..i now buy at a respectful business. .so lets start as so as you walk in you are not at all greeted by the little snot nose women who works at the front desk.I mean even when you say please and thank you customers are completely ignored..what a way to start our gym experience. .now we can move on to the weights. .good luck finding them!! Whole racks of dumbbells just gone.if your lucky you can find them on the floor halfway across the gym but not likely.its hilarious every once in awhile they have a inspection or something like that and they call "5 minutes of pride" when the staff is supposed to clean up the weights ,that lasts for about a week after the inspection is over then its back to sparta!! Good luck growing when you have to jump from 30# to 55# because you cant find the weights in between. .ok now they do have a great feature. ...the rock climbing wall...which they refused to fix!!! You can only use the medium challenge one..they have no safety device for the easy and hard side...and again they flat out told me they wont repair it (great multimillionaire gym)...now we can move on to the fact that this is a personal trainers dream gym..they get to take weights/heavy bag equipment whatever they want off the main floor and put it in a group training room where normal everyday customers cant even touch it!!! Can you imagine? Its so absurd. .i went in to play basketball early am one day and the floor felt like a ice skating rink! Extremely dangerous! ! Never any towels in the hand towel dispenser, no disinfect spray in the bottles.I dont use the pool, sauna, steam room but if it is anything like the rest of the gym I wouldnt go in those have to be nasty bacteria traps..the only good note is the maintenance worker does repair all equipment fairly quickly. .hats off to you buddy your the best thing going for that gym..

Hello! I have to give X sport 4 stars. Yes, there are issues here for sure as there are at any big company and there is definitely room for improvement. X Sport is no exception. However, there are a few outstanding people that make it the place I want to spend my money. Patricia, in the salon, is by far the most accommodating, talented professional I have gone to for hair in a LONG time and I have tried many places!! I wont go anywhere else to get my hair done. She makes the experience fun and is super professional and she knows what she is doing. I have been seeing her for about 2 years now. Thats a record for me, so trust me, she MUST be great! The only gripe I have is that their is constant turnover at the front desk leaves some of the people clueless and extremely lackluster. If it wasnt for Patricia, I would reconsider visiting X Sport for my salon needs. Tera is my personal trainer who I have been seeing for a few months now. I truly enjoy her knowledge and dedication to a healthy routine. She is encouraging and knows her stuff! She took over my sessions when my original trainer got a promotion and I was not told he left. I was so upset and irritated, but Tera and the other management made me happy in the end and I am so glad I ended up getting to work with her! Every business is going to falter every now and then, but its the WAY that X port tries to accommodate for their errors that I have to respect and am thankful for. Please before you write a one-star review, think twice. There are some really great people there who take pride in what they are doing and the facility they are working in! Thank you!! Sincerely, Stacey Collura

This place is a grungy, filthy, rundown craphole. The old Frankensteined equipment belongs in a 1970s gym museum. Most machines are missing the nuts and bolts that holds them together. Read the warning sticker right on the side; theyre not in condition to be considered safe by the company that manufacturers them! Have fun tripping over weights and garbage all over the ground. The roof leaks when it rains. Theres toxic talc chalk everywhere from da gruntin resident rockheads. The pool is full of hair and used band-aids. The locker room is a disgusting mess. They have towel service, but the towels are gray or "brown streaked" and filthy. "Personal Trainers" monopolize two or three pieces of equipment at one time and have people laying all over the scuzzy floor and scuzzy mats. Funny thing is they put people on broken equipment. When you get hurt here, send me a message, and Ill testify in your lawsuit against the gym and trainer! Check out Glenn from the Mailroom spinnin at 15 billion decibels daily at 10:00 Whats even more dushtastic about this dungheap? Dudes take off their shirts and stand around the in front of mirrors of the gym taking selfies. Haaaaaa ha fn dicriculous! Theres no free wifi here. They put up signs say - to use bar collars with free weights but they dont have any collars! Unbelievable! You can complain all day long and they still do nothing! It astounds me that a place this scuzzy and dangerous doesnt get shut down by the department of public health....
