I had my home cleaned this morning by MB. My appointment was at 8:00am, the team arrived ten minutes before 9:00am. The owner accompanied the clean team to do a walkthrough of my home. Before departing she mentioned that the clean team was allotted an hour and a half and if they went over, I would be charged extra. I was paying extra to have the refrigerator and stove cleaned, and with her reassurance-they could finish in time, I thought nothing of it. Only for the time to come and go and the maid asked if she could proceed, but it would cost $37 for an extra hour. The job wasnt finished and indeed they were working on the stove and refrigerator. I called the owner and asked why if I was paying extra for those items to be cleaned- I would have to also pay extra for them to clean them. THEN she explains that if I were on a monthly contract I wouldn’t have to pay hourly fees. NONE OF THIS WAS EXPLAINED at point of inquiry. She waited until point of sale to disclose this caveat. I thinks its double dipping to both charge extra to clean extra things as well as be charged for the extra time it takes to clean them. This needs to be properly disclosed- and it wasnt. Nevermind that they were late-hence monopolizing my time; I received no price adjustment for the tardiness. Ill probably be looking for another service since the owner didnt do all she could to ensure that I received a satisfactory experience- ESPECIALLY when I mentioned wanting the service on an ongoing basis. You got me once, but you wont get me again.

Please do not use this company - the owner is judgmental and insulting. I used Maid Brigade a couple of years ago but ended my contract because, I was unhappy. The maids seem to rush the cleaning because they are on a tight schedule dictated by management. A few weeks ago I gave them another chance, which was a terrible idea. I have been caring for a baby and have been working out of my house full time for the last year. I contacted Maid Brigade again, because I needed help getting my house back in order. The owner came out to my home and was extremely judgmental and insulting. She made several snide comments and faces while walking through my house. They maids cleaned my house and then the owner called me to schedule future cleanings. At this point she quoted my house for $60 more than any other cleaning company has in the past. She stated that this was “because of all the clutter”. The reason for a lot of the “clutter” was because Maid Brigade showed up an hour early. I also feel that the maids are afraid of the owner. Last time I used them I left a negative comment on the comment card and was approached by one of the maids and asked to leave only positive comments in the future. I should let them know if there was a problem with the cleaning. As customers I feel that we seek out a cleaning service because we need assistance. Either we don’t have time to clean our homes ourselves, or we would rather pay someone to do it for us. Either way, I don’t feel we should be judged by the way our home looks.

I just had Maid Brigade of Bartlett clean my house. I was very happy with the whole experience. The team initially showed up and spent a few minutes determining the areas that needed special attention and got right to work. I have lots of rust stains in the bathroom tubs & sinks and they did a great job of removing the stains. The ladies who did the work were very professional and worked quickly. I would definitely recommend Maid Brigade of Bartlett to anyone who needs help with housecleaning.

That is a huge weight off of my shoulders. Im very thankful for their excellent work. They treat my home as if it were their own.
