My boys love their teachers and we couldnt be happier! The logo is "community starts here" and you can feel that when you walk into the building. It seems that each member of the staff is invested in caring for my kids. They love going everyday and, as a working mom, I feel confident knowing that they are well-cared for. Additionally, I have seen my sons skills bloom since we started 3 months ago. My 4 year old is writing and knows all of his letters. I picked him up the other day and the class was reading books. I couldnt be happier with the academic aspect. Its more than just daycare! My two year old even has learning standards. I have noticed that he is talking much more since he began. His teachers work to teach him how to communicate and it definitely helps to ease some of his frustrations. It is neat to see the things they have learned at Kiddie Academy. I also enjoy the fact that Kiddie Academy uses the Tadpoles app. We talk every night at dinner about what they learned and did at school. I can use the app to ask specific questions so that I get more than a generic answer of "good." I also know exactly what they ate and how much of it. I enjoy getting to be so informed about their days.

I toured this facility recently. My first impression was not good. When you entered the smell was that of old mop water, you know that stagnant sent of a mop left in water for days. While we filled out paperwork we could hear the director and her helper discussing personal opinions of parents following an incident. Then as we toured the place it was like complete chaos- kids screaming and crying, teachers frustrated. One kid was LITERALLY hanging off the curtains, while another had flipped a couch and was sliding down it, another girl was crying and had a bloody nose, several boys were playing in the sink water throwing it everywhere...and this was in the 2 year old room. We then had to travel through to the 3-4 year old room and a boy was crying hysterically in which the teacher yelled "you are ridiculous. use your words" as she slammed toys around- She also mentioned they take kids for a walk to the pond to feed the ducks. I do not feel comfortable with someone taking my kid to water when they cannot keep kids under control in a closed room. I know kids are wild sometimes, perhaps I caught a bad moment but that was enough for me to not want to send my boy there EVER.

would never recommend this daycare. Maybe somebody will have better luck. Lots of people I have encountered with children dont recommend this place. If your kid has a 99degree temp you must pick him up. Kids with any sensory issues or on the autism spectrum do not apply. Teachers/aids think they are nurses or have a medical degree and will say a kid with a red eye has pink eye... Immediate care says nasal infection with obstructed tear ducts... I cant even count the number of times i had to pick my kid up because of stupid issues of a kid being 3 years old. yes he will pinch, blah blah blah...he is a kid. Teachers/aids think the kid needs to be medicated b/c they cant handle them.... and this doesnt meet the "Kiddie Academy" perception they want to give. write up after write up to get the kid out... goodbye and good riddance

I cannot say enough good things about Kelly and the staff at Kiddie Academy. I am the Foster father of 2 boys, one 4 years old and the other 3 months. Kiddie Academy was quick to respond to our need for daycare and educational needs. They have an excellent education program for my 4 year old, who in the last 2 months has had a noticeable increase in his Letter recognition and writing. The ladies in the nursery are always excited when our 3 month old comes in. He has medical issues that cause seizures and I know that he will be safe at Kiddie Academy because of the attention they pay to all their kids. If you are looking for a great daycare/preschool environment for your kids I would highly recommend Kiddie Academy.

At first I was a parent looking to enroll my child into a facility that offered transportation and school-age programming for my daughter who at the time was in 1st grade. I, myself have worked at other early childhood centers as well as had my daughter in other centers so my expectations are pretty high. I am pleased to say I have been completely satisfied with the staff and facility over the span of my daughters education and formative years. She is now in 4th grade and facing a bright future of learning and success! Thank you Kiddie Academy of Carpentersville for everything you have provided my daughter and me!

Kiddie Academy has definitely exceeded my expectation. The Staff are professional and have a very good understanding of the curriculum. They are also very well trained to provide feedback on how the child’s day was. The school is very clean and class toys and activities are well organized too. Also, my son has been taught well about washing hands. I like the school. The teachers and administration all interact very well with me and my son. Excellent job. KEEP IT UP !!!

Kiddie Academy has been a great experience for my young ones! It is really prepping them for the next step in their education. Jamie has been a pleasure to work with from the first tour to the day to day experience. I would recommend this facility to anyone. It feels like family on a daily basis. The communication from the teachers is impeccable. I look forward to continuing my relationship with them and watching my children be in the best care possible.

Its a nice place and my son enjoys going there after school. The teachers have all been wonderful. The only things I would suggest are for them to promote the older children options more. There arent many 9 and up kids I see. Also, to have credit for days off. No matter 5 days or 3 weekly fees are the same. As a single parent some flexible would be helpful. Overall its been a good fit for the school year.

Worst place. Stay away from here. My child was abused by another child every week and had a total of 3 visits to the ER/immediate care- and they did not discipline the other child or take any actions. Communication is poor and the staff are careless including their management team as well as the owner.

Staff is so nice! I am very happy for sending my daughter here. The teachers spend so much time with her, and they help her advance and grow! It really helps a working mom out to see your child be happy to go to day care!
