Both my son and daughter attended La Petite Academy Oswego since they were infants. The educational and caring environment is top notch. In fact, my daughter will be leaving La Petite for Kindergarten in August and she is very upset about leaving Ms. Sharon. She has requested that we make daily visits to just say "hi". The feelings run both ways. At the Pre-K graduation, Ms. Sharon had to fight back the tears as she spoke about "her children". This is a common theme across La Petites staff. The educational part of La Petite has prepared both of my children beyond anything that I would have thought possible with children so young. My son has been in all AT class, which I do attribute to the teachings throughout his daycare experience. When I recently attended the Kindergarten informational night to learn about what I need to do to prepare my daughter, I found that she was not only already prepared, but that she already knew much of what she would be learning in Kindergarten. The experience at La Petite has been nothing short of wonderful. I can honestly say that even if I was a stay at home mom, I would still bring my kids there because of the benefits. I view the money I pay on weekly basis tuition to educate my children in a caring environment, not day care costs.

They know how to run a business well and provide excellent care and education for children. I drive 5 miles / 15 minutes each way and pass 2 other childcare places in the opposite direction of my commute to allow my children the best care in the area. The district manager instituted a bus route for my school-ager when she was the only child from their academy attending that specific elem school just so my kids can be together in the after school hours. They communicate better than any of their competitors not only in the area, but even compared to other stories I hear from family in other states. They cater the lesson to the childs ability, build interest, and make learning fun. Ive noticed such a big difference in "game night" that my 4 year old can hang with the 1st grade questions in Game Quest and other trivia games. My school-ager is top in her class, partially from the foundation she received from La Petite Oswego. Her love of school and drive to learn has flourished, largely due to the educators at La Petite. I am going to miss the influence this school has on my kids when they grow out of these years, and highly recommend this academy.

We have been with La Petite for 4 1/2 years with all 3 of my children attending. Their staff are wonderful. They geniunely care about my children and their health, happiness and learning. The teachers are very willing to go above and beyond to help you out. My infant daughter had some health issues and the teachers in the infant room were wonderful in keeping in contact with me during the day to let me know how she was behaving and eating. We toured quite a few centers before choosing La Petite but felt totally at home when walking into this center. The Director and Assistant Director have been so amazing. They do everything in their power to help you out and accomodate special requests. When my daughter had Emergency surgery the Director gave me her personal cell phone number and was willing to keep the center open until we could find someone to pick up my son. I cant say enough good things about La Petite and would recommend them to everyone!

Weve been at La Petite Oswego for 3 years now and just love it! All the staff really love the kids. The Director & Assistant Director are great to work with. My daughter learned so much very quickly after we switched her to La Petite. We looked at numerous other centers when we were getting ready to switch from her old daycare. La Petites program and facility seemed the best. Shes now in Kindergarten and loves all the activities available in the after-school and summer programs. My son has been at La Petite since he was an infant and is just thriving! Hes got a great group of little friends. Any time Ive had any issues, the staff has been very quick to respond and work with us as a team to find the best solution for everyone. Id highly recommend La Petite Oswego!

As parents of 4, we have had lots of experiences with daycare. Weve come to learn that the difference between a good daycare and a great daycare hinges on the leadership and the staff. In our experience, LaPetite Oswego, is a GREAT daycare. From the director to the teachers, you can tell that their heart is in what they do. They are loving, fun and invested in each child and you really do become a part of their family. Our youngest son has been going to LaPetite Academy in Oswego for over 4 years and we can sincerely say, it has been one of the best decisions we have made for him. He is now in school full time, but as summer approaches, he is ecstatic to return to LaPetite to spend the summer with his teachers and friends there. He just loves the place and so do we.

My son went to La Petite in Ohio during his early years and we loved it. When we moved to Oswego last year we knew we wanted to check out the local La Petite for our daughter now that she was at the age where she needed some interaction with children her own age. We included other local day cares in the area and none were like La Petite. Their management and teachers are so nice and willing to work with our families schedule. They truly do care about their families. I know that I do not have to worry about my daughter at al while there. She has blossomed over these past few months and I know it is has been with the help of La Petite Oswego!

Our son has attended La Petite Academy since he was 18 months old and we absolutely love the staff and programs. The teachers are so caring and good with our son and the learning programs are excellent - every day he surprises us with new things he has learned. We love the regular email updates on what and how much he is eating and information on his activities that we receive throughout the day. Our son loves his friends at La Petite too and looks forward to going to school every day! -Heather Abraham

The teachers and staff are great. The facility is clean, well stocked with toys and supplies, and has classrooms that are perfect for each age group. Our son has been going here for a year and he loves it. They always have after school events to bring the families together, conferences to keep you informed of your childs progress, and fun seasonal programs for the kids to participate in.

Directors and management are nice and friendly. Staffing is awful. High turn over rates, and very poor communication skills. My 11 Month old daughter comes home with diaper rashes on a consistent basis. There is also several times where I pick her up, and there is poop in her diaper. The answer from the staff? "Oh I didnt even smell it." WONDER WHY MY DAUGHTER HAS RASHES...HMMMM...
