Mike and C&W are absolutely amazing. He didnt have to, but he helped me navigate the hugely complex world of insurance and accidents. I know he saved me thousands of dollars through his advice. He is clearly an honest man who wants to do great work and help people. I came here expecting to see a 5-star rating for C&W because they were so amazing for me. I looked at the bad reviews and saw a common thread...cheap parts. Everyone needs to understand all body shops have to work with your insurance. The insurance companies are the ones that insist on cheaper/refurbished/Chinese parts, not the body shop. Theyd generally prefer to work with good parts...its easier to work with good stuff. So, it isnt C&W you should be angry with if you got refurbished parts, its your cheap insurance. Thats what happened to me...my insurance company wanted them to use inferior, cheaper Chinese parts. My experience is Mike will do the utmost he can within what your insurance company will allow. I wholeheartedly recommend C&W. An honest man who can do great work is a rarity. Be happy you found such a man/company in what is obviously a bad situation...your car is smashed! Dont believe this review is real? Im easy to find on the Internet...give me a call.

I had an accident last December and my car was towed to C and W for the repair work. The insurance paid them $6,500 for all of the repairs that were needed. When I picked up my vehicle I found out that they gave me a refurbished rim, a crappy paint job, and tried using the trashed parts instead of buying new ones. Not to mention once I got it home in good light and looked at the paint I relized that they missed serval spots on the paint and got all kind of gunk similar to tar on the outside of my car. Just this monday I had to take my car back to have a spot repainted that they missed where rust was starting to form. Same results again I picked up my car at night it looked fine and once I got home I relized that there was all kinds of the tar substance on my car both outside and inside on my leather. I would not recomend this place to anyone. Beware you will get screwed out of good service and honesty.

My Trusty Steed is" NEW AGAIN"!!!! The Customer care was phenomenal, from the day I received the estimate for repair to the completion of the repair. Customer Care , Consideration and Convenience were my experience when with the Staff at C&W Auto-body. The work was done in a timely basis taking in consideration of saving me time and inconvenience by allowing me to receive a car rental on site. The staff inspired confidence that my vehicle would be repaired using only authentic parts for my car, not cheap replacements manufactured by another company, The estimate was on target and competitive. If you should have the unfortunate experience of an accident and need body repair for you vehicle dont hesitate to contact C & W Auto-body!!! "No Worry No Disappointment"

Very pleased with the repairs to my car. Insurance co. recommended C & W and Im glad I made the drive (live just outside the city but work in Naperville). Unlike the last shop I went to a few years ago, you actually can see the areas where your car gets worked on. Probably not a big deal, but I like it when theres nothing to hide. You know those car washes where you can watch your car going through? Same thing. I dealt directly with the owners (brother and sister) every time I came in...very helpful and knew their business. They had a rental car waiting for me before they were even finished with the estimate. Hoping I dont have to use a body shop again for a long time, but if I do, itll be C & W.

Bad experience and low quality work. reasons why: *The quality of the work was sub-par - it took me going back several times to get things done right. Its bad because I just realized they installed a wrong model headlight that doesnt even go with the bumper headlight unit. It was more so like they made it fit just to get the money from insurance company. Their estimates are bogus and not trustworthy because they try to get more out of you on top of your deductible. My headlight assembly is from a different model per my new mechanic. I went to a different one to get it fixed. I have already taken the car back twice to C&W but still have issues.

((((AMAZING SHOP)))) C&W Autobody is an amazing shop to work with! I have been working in the Fleet Auto Repairing industry for over 7 years and I have worked with a lot of shops. C & W is one of the top shops I have ever had the pleasure to work with. They have been repairing our Zipcars for over 4 years and they are our preferred shop to do work with. C & W Auto goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the quality of their repairs. If you are looking for a shop that provides outstanding customer service does great quality of work and wont give you the run around C & W is where you want to go!

Scheduled my appointment last week. Today I arrive and the people working (not the person I scheduled with) have no clue about my appointment, no file for me, an they dont think the parts have been ordered. On top of that one person starts to help me and then stops saying she doesnt know what to do, then the guy (Herman) who scheduled the appt walks in and he acts like Im an inconvenience and says that itll take longer than a day (originally quoted) to fix. Im guessing that is because he did not order the parts yet! Poor poor customer service. I wont be coming back and will not recommend.

I was referred to Richard and Karen at C & W Auto through a friend. The entire staff from the front office to the mechanics made me feel I was in good hands. They took care of everything from reviewing the damage through the appraisal and I had my car back in no time! The workmanship goes without saying, professional to the last detail. What will bring me back is the integrity and honesty that C & W Auto delivers to their customers. Whenever anybody asks about an auto shop referral…I only recommend C & W Auto located next to Costco in Lincoln Park on Clybourn!

Horrible experience, I worked with Herman, who said one thing and did another multiple times. He did not order the part as he said he would, the repair was delayed and delayed my trip out of town even though promised earlier. The amount of time they quoted for labor was totally false and more than $100 more than actual labor. He was not willing to adjust this as they knew they overcharged. Once the repair was done, the part was the wrong size. I called to inquire and was given the runaround. I am very upset, do not use this company.

C & W Auto Repair shop is nothing short of professional! They put the “P” in pride, professional and proficient. -I was referred to them by a close friend about 9 years ago when my automobile was hit by someone while it was parked. The level of service received then was wonderful! A little over a month ago, I was in my first automobile collision, the staff and the owners took care of my vehicle and myself. I would endorse them to any and all of my friends and family. Thanks for putting my wheels back on the road. -Clarence
