A mechanic named David reattached my muffler for $30 and after he was finished he walked into my drivers side mirror, which had been previously broken and snapped it off. I had glued it back on. I asked him since it was now hanging if there was anything he could do about it. He said that he would use epoxy and glue the 2 pieces back together and that I could pick it up in the morning. I went back the following afternoon and he said that he had forgotten to glue it and had one of his guys dialing the phone to get a quote for a new mirror. He quoted me $60 and I said I didnt have $60 and I just wanted my old mirror back. Then they heckled me about it only being $60 all the while referring to me as "little lady". I asked when I could come back and pick it up. They told me the following day. I called that Monday because I had to work the following day. When I called the guy who answered the phone said that David was not in and quoted me $70 for a new mirror at which time I raised my voice and said "that was not the agreement, Im not going to buy a new mirror from you." The following Wednesday I returned again and saw David who told me to come back in an hour, that again, the mirror was at home. I have not yet gone back to get the mirror, but all I can think of is how manipulative and ignorant these people are. Im planning to return there with the police! DO NOT EVER GO TO PRATT AUTO- CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!!!!!

I went there to have a couple of O2 sensors changed. It is pretty easy job to do as long as you have a lift. Initial quote was $40. After making me wait for 2 hours, finally they started the work. After 30 minutes of fiddling with it they said that they will not do it for 50 dollars, instead they wanted 80$. When I said OK. After another 2 hours and damaging the connection between the engine block and the exhaust pipe, after me telling them where the sensor wires come out, after helping them to install them, the ordeal was semi-over. Tony (manager or owner, who knows wtf he does) and Karl ( short little dude who does not know how to do the simplest thing in the frigging world) promised that they will change the bolt they messed up for free if I had the bolts. The very next day I went there with the bolts and was told that frigging idiots will charge me another 50$ to change it. Overall, these people do not have the slighest clue as to wtf they are doing. While I was there, they also changed someones breakpads for no reason and still left the real problem untouched. No wonder the guy was steaming red hot. So was I. Additionally, if you end up there for some reason ask for a receipt when they are done, and ask again, because they will not give you one which makes sense since they just do not do a good job and seemingly everybody comes back. P.S. I wish that I could give them minus 5 star for their service.

Dont hesitate taking your car to Pratt Auto. I have been using this service for 4 different cars for more than 10 years. He routinely charges me less than I am expecting, or tells me to wait and do things later that I planned on doing now. They are extremely honest, knowledgeable and a great shop. Very organized and reliable. I will never go anywhere else. I once went to a different place near my house because my transmission wasnt working correctly and the guy told me I needed a new transmission NOW. I called Pratt Auto and he told me to get out of there and bring it to him. He said that based on how my transmission looked and the age of my car (old) he recommended doing nothing and waiting to see what happens. I ended up doing nothing. I then traded in the car in about 2 years later and saved $$$ by listening to them.

I took my car there for a bent rim. I wanted them to hammer the bend out, or put in a new rim. They called me on my cell phone 2 hrs later to tell me that the brakes are all worn out, and I should get new pads for $150. I said OK and to do it. An hour later, they called me saying that rotors need to be replaced too, another $200. I said OK. When I went to pick up my car, the original bent rim was still not fixed. They told me that they cant fix the bend, and that they dont have a new rim. I paid them for what they did, and left cursing at them, never to go back there again. They just know how to do an oil change and how to change brakes, nothing else. So watchout.... Theyll do these two things so that they can bill you, whether or not the original issue is addressed.

Liars and crooks. These guys are scam artists. They changed my scepticism because my transmission was leaking. It was still leaking, so they told me I needed a new transmission. Come to find out they put the axel in wrong. It was fixed for 300 when they wanted 1500$! I paid them 360 for a new axel and seals. They never put the seals in! This place should be on a hidden camera tv show. I am in the process of taking them to small claims court, hopefully also getting them deported. Never go here! Beware of Pratt auto! Scam artists, who I dont even think know how to change oil correctly.

I hit my tires on the road many times and thought of trying a new repair shop so someone suggested Pratt Auto to me. I went there and the managers were comforting and managed to fix my car in a flexible time rate. They also adjusted the tires and polished it. I dont think any other shop would do that. I highly recommend this shop. Its on a big street and its a very convenient store.
