It took me a little longer to write this. On January 19 my significant other and father to my son passed away. That is how I was unfortunate enough to encounter the heartless owner. I believe his name was Matt or Max Cooney, this man had zero sympathy for the grieving father and claimed its "all about the money." Shortly after Steven passed away we were told by the police department that sometimes the funeral home director would allow us to to see the body. We were grieving and confused so me and his father decided to give it a try since either of us have yet to see his body, when we entered cooneys we were quickly told to get the hell out before the cops were called. Long story short the owner of the funeral home made this experience more painful and excruciating than it already was and needed to be.

The owners were unprofessional and inattentive. We had to check everything they did and they only responded to emails after multiple reminders. They were uncommunicative and didnt answer inquiries, forcing me to spend time and energy during a difficult period checking on details that should have been taken care of. In addition, there were multiple services going on at the same time and no staff from the funeral home was helping guests to the right destination, forcing members of the grieving family to direct confused and grieving guests from other families to the right room.

Do today is my grandpas funeral but they showed no respect. But on the other hand they took good care of him. I would try going to another place but if its the only place then go here.
