I had the misfortune of getting the first hand experiance of how this funeral home works. The office staff was not orginized or perfessional and trust worthy. I hate to say that they are just looking at the bottom line and not helping the customers get though there hard times. Death of a love one is hard enough and to have someone call you and tell you that the money was not enough and stop the services just minutes away from the time, on the day of the viewing is too much. Then ask you how much money will you be bringing in and ask what will you do is redundent. That is why you go to them, that is their job. If you knew the answer to these questions, you would not need them. I was so heart broken because my loved one had been friends with the owner for many years and my family had done business with them before. Now, we were treated as if strangers or something. I hate to see what they do to individuals that they do not know, the program was not made out right and did not have the correct information, they even over charged us and we have to get that fixed. The staff was clear with the kind of information that they gave when it came to caring for the departed. I advise going to a place where they care about your feelings and helping you to carry out the last wishes of your loved ones with sencerity. It appears as if Doty Nash funeral home is not able to do so and have lost the true meaning of why they went into business. Even the card that they send the families lack the personal touch of even one office persons signature. It seems as if a robot is in the office and not a real person.Customer sevice is always something that helps seperate us and machine, tell me what seperates Doty Nash?

I have had the worse experience with this funeral home-I know funeral homes are a business but they should also be personable and courteous. The people at Doty Nash Funeral Home treat their clients with such disrespect. They of all people should know that during mourning it is difficult to think straight and it is the funeral homes duty to make the transition smooth and one less thing for us to worry about. The people in the office talk down to you and they speak to you as if you were in 3rd grade. The staff of Doty Nash need to be trained better in customer service the same as Doctors are trained in bedside manner. If I were given the chance to this this over (although that’s not possible) I would have chosen another funeral home. I would choose a funeral home that respects their clients and value their business.

Below is a review from a family that we recently served. At the time of my fathers death (James Nance) The whole family was in a deep state of sadness. The staff and owners at Doty Nash were extremely helpful and patient while guiding myself and my family through the many details of preparing for the funeral. We couldnt imagine going to any other funeral home and they will be the first call I make if I need their services in the future. God bless you all!!! Minister Ora Nance.
