Absolutely terrible! My husbands grandmother passed away and the funeral director (Chip) was kind enough to pick her up from the morge without knowing of her insurance and take her to his funeral home. He worked to find out about the insurance and located enough money to pay her bill. Three months later her grave marker was still not up so we called to talk to him about this. He informed us that her funeral bill has not been paid and the insurance did not pay what was promised. He discussed this matter both with my husband and I and gave us differing numbers about the amount owed. He then agreed to let us make payments to him to avoid being sued for the amount owed. My husband did not sign a liability paper nor did he plan the funeral. My husbands sister was the life insurance beneficiary and just provided us with receipts as to where he was paid by the life insurance company. It is extremely sad that a "local family business" would be trying to scam individuals during a time of the loss of a loved one. If you want a funeral home that will be honest with you and not try to steal from you, AVOID THIS ONE!
