Well! I have a tale to tell and its not a good one. I have lived in South Chicago where Louies is located for years. I remember when the uncle owned it and the place was shut down for being a front for drug dealing. When Tony and crew first reopened, they were known for doing excellent work at fair prices but that seems to have gone the way of the landline phone. Tony has always had a sucky attitude and a case of an extremely swelled head but since the work was good I always ignored it. Today he was such an a$$ and so unprofessional that I need to warn people. I have driver side damage to my door and because the door wont open, I have to crawl out of the passenger side to exit the vehicle. I pulled up into the driveway of Louies where Tony was standing about five feet away talking to another customer. He saw my car, ignored it and turned to go inside. In an effort to get his attention so that I could discuss the business of getting my car fixed, I tapped the horn. He couldnt see the damage on the drivers side and before we could say anything, he gave a smart remark that "this aint a drive thru like Burger King", with an ugly smirk on his face. My fiance was trying to tell him why I couldnt exit the vehicle and all he managed to say was "sir..." and Mr. Big Head Honcho just went off. Instead of just walking over to the car so that we could discuss business, he insulted us to the maximum. Then he threatened us and HE CALLED US NIG--. Mind you, I have been doing business with them for years and I never knew they were racist Mexican Americans toward African American clientele. I was so shocked and dumbfounded that it took a few minutes to start the car and leave. He is lucky that my fiance is a gentleman but no one has to endure this! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS AND ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE AFRICAN AMERICAN. Their work was good in the beginning but they have succumbed to a case of massive EGO and they have fallen off and charge astronomical amounts for funky attitudes and shoddy work that takes forever to complete...

This is the worst place of business Ive ever been to in my life!!! The owner is a Big Liar! I put my truck in on June 30th to get painted and other minor details, and he said it would be ready by July 3rd. When I went to pick it up he said that it wasnt ready and to give him two more days and that he would call me. Well, two days pass and no call. I went back and he said "sorry, Im so sorry its not done yet, but it will be tomorrow". Ive been so busy. After two weeks I was very frustrated with him then he promised to take something off the total. He finally called and said the truck is almost done! Its painted and everything! I just need to do one more thing for you. I want to make sure everything it perfect for you. I told him if my truck is not finished by tomorrow that Im taking it the way it is. He said "ok, Im just about done, and no more excuses. Well, of course I went to pick it up, he said its still not ready and I told him give me my car!!!!! After 30 days! My car wasnt touched!!! NO PAINT JOB WAS DONE AT ALL!!! Nothing!! My truck looked the same as it did when I put it in 30 days earlier. Then he said "I never told you that I painted it. Smdh.... You big azz LIAR!!!

The most unprofessional business ever! He said he would only need my car for a week and I had to call him to find out he would need my car an additional 4 days! I came to pick up my car and my car hadnt been worked on. My car had been sitting in his shop for 2 weeks and they hadnt begun working on my vehicle. Alex and Tony were extremely unprofessional and act like they could careless because they gave me $300 off. Despite my better judgement I brought my car in another day and he told me he doesnt have room in his shop for my vehicle until another week. Not to mention they damaged my car even more when it was in their possession. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! This is a 2017 review! Only reason I gave one start is because I had to in order to post this review!

Went to Louies to fix a dent on one of my doors. They fixed it quickly and I was impressed with the great paint job. So feeling confident I put in an order for him to replace my front bumper and I paid cash up front for the new bumper to be delivered. Days later they still did not order my front bumper after I paid cash for it. A week has gone bye and still no sign of the front bumper that I had ordered- to make matters worst a piece of my door frame falls off after I went into a car wash on the side of my car that they had fixed.......At this point I am disappointed in the company completely so I went back and got my refund for the front bumper that they never delivered to me. SMH at least he gave me back my refund for the front bumper without a problem.

THEY SUCK INFINITELY!! Following a car accident, they have had my car since March 2nd 2012. Due to insurance delays they were not told to begin work until March 18th, the work was only cosmetic. On March 31st - April 6th I was continually told, on an every other day basis, that my car was ready. On April 10th the mechanic told me hed just found out about my car and itd be ready on April 14th. Let me also say that TONY is an a-hole, of the worst sort. Today is the 21st, do I have my car? I do not. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on the 15th. With the Attorney General on the 18th.

The alleged owner, Tony and there incomplete work along with there over pricing.Tony (alleged owner) of Louies is the most ignorant person Ive run into in a very long time. Hes rude, obnoxious, unprofessional and a real jerk. He painted a strip on my car with another vehicles paint then tried and pass it off like I was going to believe this was the correct paint. When I mention to him about it he actually got upset and said I was a pain in the azz. HOW RUDE, please do not deal with this jerk, hes not worth it nor is his service.

A couple of days I went to get my car fixed for an incredible high price and had to deal with the owner or manager named Tony which is the most intolerant person Ive ever met , but i just wanted to get over so I agreed. They told me that they would me done in a certain amount of days but i took a lot longer than that. And finally when i went to pick it up... SURPRISE!!!!!! THE PROBLEM WAS THERE. THEY SAID THAT THEY FINISHED AND THAT I HAVE TO PAY NO MATTER WHAT. So if your car needs to be fixed look for another place.
