Gotta love Mrs Lee. This little salon has been a local hair cuttery for 17 years now. I stoped in today to get my hair dyed. Met Mrs Lee, and let me tell you she is one of the friendly=est hair stylest Ive ever met. I came in with combat boots and a request to dye my brown curls black and red. Mrs Lee hesitated a little at the idea but was very warm all the same. The shop attracts many walk in clients. Today was 4th of July and this little shop still attracted last minute walk ins. In the 2 hours I was there she had 6 clients. It was just her working but she managed it like a pro. Buzz buzz here, snip snip there, every where a comb comb. We talked a lot. I recommend anyone to this great little shop and will be back!

Esther is wonderful! Incredibly friendly. Most places are all about pushing things on you, getting you out the door, and almost always cut off more than what I want/not in the way I want it; it was refreshing to find a place not like that. I told her the cut I was working to get because I thought I needed more length but she worked my hair so it would work with my short hair without taking too much off so eventually I can get the length I want! She talked me through the whole process, asked me questions, and really made sure I was getting what I wanted. It was excellent.

I stopped by Sun Beauty on the way to the Hair Cuttery on Clark and was pleasantly surprised. There was no wait, and I got a better haircut than I would have at the Hair Cuttery, and for only $10! The place is clean and calming; Esther was focused on cutting my hair rather than socializing with other stylists or answering the phone. I am definitely a repeat customer; how can you beat $10 for a haircut?
