I was at home waiting for my package so I was constantly looking out the window to see if he is here. He was indeed doing his job daily BUT HE did NOT even attempt to knock on the door to see if someone is home. Not only that, he did not even leave a notification saying he attempted to delivery it. On the online tracking, it says - Delivered, May 12, 2010, 9:28 am, CHICAGO, IL 60609 <<< this should not say "Delivered" because I went to "PICK IT UP" If I knew I had to go pick up my package, why would I waste my time at home when I can do something else. - Notice Left, May 11, 2010, 9:55 am, CHICAGO, IL 60609 <<< this is a total lie because he came to my door step at 10:09AM and I was there waiting for him to knock. - Out for Delivery or Available at PO Box, May 11, 2010, 8:19 am, CHICAGO, IL 60609 Also, for my other package, it was DAMAGED. They claimed it was like that when it reached the post office. So is it my fault that we use the USPS service? Who is responsible for my lost? myself? this is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!! They should be doing a good job, if not, whats the point of them when we all could just buy a box there and get our mail ourselves. Not only that, most of the important mails are missing and I have to constantly call in for a new statement. They should not blame the economic or customers if we chose to use other mailing service.

Im STILL waiting for a call back concerning a package that just "fell off the radar" on June 3, 2017! That was the last inconclusive scan for it -"a carrier delay has occurred" is all it says....What does that mean anyway?? I have an online business and this is just not acceptable!!! They rarely answer their phone and Ive been trying frequently. When I did get to talk to someone, they "promised" to call me back to let me know what they found out (whatever that was) but of course - no call back. That was promised to me by 3 different Delivery Supervisors! They must tell people that without any intention of doing so just to make them "go away"! Very frustrating to say the least because not only did I refund my Customer for this package, but it has literally vanished without a trace so I probably wont even get it back which is what I told them I wanted at this point. Is it laziness, incompetence, just plain lack of caring or all of the above? Absolutely HORRIBLE Customer Service!!!

I had a package that was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, July 3rd. There was an alert entered on the tracking as "unable to access delivery point". My house is not gated and packages have been left in the past, so Im not sure what that alert was for. I went to this facility on July 5th to see if my package was there since there wasnt an update on the tracking information. I was told that the carrier might have it and that they would call me once she returned to let me know where my package was. I never received a phone call! The tracking now says "receptacle blocked" again, there is nothing wrong with my mailbox! I will be calling in a complaint with upper management. I received no mail today! Beyond upset and my package better not be returned to shipper!

Why bother owning a phone if it never gets answered? except the rare occasion it does but youre put on hold and they never come back to answer. In the past 2 days, i must have called over 20xs. This was during business hours, not right before closing. Also, theres only ever 2 people working. Theyre rude as hell and move as slow as molasses. When they finish with your FRAGILE package, they THROW it across the room to the sorting bin. Anytime ive been in there, the line was wrapped around the place, yet they take their sweet time clocking back in from lunch & walking over to help. Why? What is wrong with this place?

I waited for an hour to receive a package ... and the girl who treated me to Red Hair did not feel like doing her job .... She came back said she had lost the paper with my information .... I asked her back please look for it and never came back ... They dont have respect for the time of the customers that happens to people if they do not like their work because they treat people so I am very annoying and unfortunately I can not do anything. ... She is being paid for a job she does not want to do ... a different employee returned my receipt and apologized for the other woman with red hair

As far as post offices go, this has to be one of the worst (and that is not saying much). Horrible customer service, negative attitude and slow as molasses responses make the DMV look like a vacation. If there was the ability to make this rating a -five stars this post office outlet would earn that with flying colors. Remember this next time they try to justify another rate increase. They cant process a simple change of address in their service area nor deliver mail appropriately. Lets not get started on stopping in to speak with someone at the station as things go down hill fast!

I really dont understand whats the point of them having a phone number if they never answer. They suck they have lazy people here and most likely workers that steal packages. Last time my girlfriend had to run down the street and ask the guy where was her package at since it was marked "delivered" on the tracking website. The guy said he had it on his truck and was going to go back and drop it off.. after he had already delivered all the mail on that block. BE AWARE OF YOU PACKAGES WHEN SCHEDULED TO BE DELIVERED. -J Back of the Yards

This place has to be the worst facility on the south side. Plenty of staff yet they always have a line out the door bc only one teller is open. It makes no sense, whos running this place? Its always messy with carts filled with undelivered packages cluttering the front of the facility. The women here have an unwelcoming attitude and if you dare ask a question they scold you and tell you to wait in line. If you are in a rush or need mail out asap, its best if you go elsewhere.

These are the laziest postal workers in history they never answer the phone and the carrier is even worst. Was home and entire day waiting on my package tracking number gave me a time up until 8pm at 7:30pm I get a message saying the carrier was never able access the building......omfg the apartment number is clearly listed and all they had to do was ring the bell hate this place doesnt even deserve 1 star

I get my neighbors mail in my locked box and she gets mine. we have to sort it out between ourselves. I get notices for missed packages EVEN THOUGH I WAS AT HOME!!!!!!! Those notices are usually marked final notice. I have complained to the supervisor but nothing has been done. The phone at this post office is always busy. If I wanted to drive and pick up my mail everyday Id pay for a box.
