I have now had my 2nd road rage encounter with an employee from this post office. I deliver mail here for a certain company almost everyday through the back how many other customers do as well, whether its dropping off already paid parcels or whether its dropping off big bulk mailings. Entering there is 2 lanes, 1 for entering and one for leaving, obviously you dont want to block cars from coming in and usually there is 1 right turning lane. Today leaving from drop off I was waiting for the oncoming traffic before I could turn right with a postal employee behind me who obviously just got off work could not wait no longer then 10 seconds before she pulled into the oncoming lane trying to turn right in front of me for some reason almost getting hit by the oncoming traffic she slams on her breaks. After about 5 more seconds for it to clear I then turned right (as I have the right of way) as she tried too also, almost crashing into my car multiple times. Then has the nerve to proceed in giving me the finger multiple times and yelling all kinds of crazy stuff at me. This lady was in such a rush to leave work she almost crash at least 3 times, 1 time on company property. I wonder how she drives when she has the government vehicle. She is very lucky nobody got hurt. I have her license plate and intend on making a complaint to a manager tomorrow as I know I will run into this lady again. The first time about 6 months back as I was driving east on devon right after lincoln a post office worker turns right onto devon getting behind me traveling east on devon. From there to the parking lot is literally no more then 2 blocks maybe 1. He rode my bumper maybe 1 inch away as I was going 35 MPH in a 30 MPH. I pulled into the parking lot and he pulls next to me starts giving me the finger and yelling certain words at me. This is all on government property he gets out of his car acts like he is getting something from his trunk and then gets back in and parks. He was working with his personal vehicle as he started to unload mail out of it, I have his plate number as well. The guy was obviously completely crazy. I made a complaint right then and there to the manager and im sure nothing happened as she didnt really look to concerned. Had that not been on government property that situation would have escalated very quickly. Point being mailman have the worst road rage of us all. Or maybe the post office doesnt care what kind of drivers they have out there. But these 2 obviously should not be driving, especially not for a living. Come to think of it, maybe thats why the post office is allowing these drivers to use their own cars, they probably get way too many complaints from people like this. This post doesnt even deserve 1 star but that is the least you can select. This is only 2 problems out of way too many to even post about this place. If I had to go into customer service I would be here for about a week typing up complaints.

I cant begin to explain how I was treated today at this post office. I got so emotional and started to cry ( well, Im pregnant). I sent a package to Texas on Saturday only to find the package at my door on Monday evening. I was shocked and returned the package on tuesday (today ) to ask what went wrong. The guy who was helping me told me that I wrote the TO: before the FROM:. I felt bad because I dont send package a lot. I then explained that the cashier could have told me right there and then, considering that I specifically labelled both addresses as TO: and FROM:on the package. The guy helping me didnt know how to go about rectifying the issue and called on another employee. This other employee happened to be the girl that helped me out on saturday. She was trying to see how to fix the issue but apparently she wasnt knowledgeable enough. Then another employee came into the situation, her name is Desiree. She insisted that I have to pay for another postage, at that point I asked for a manager. I waited over 45 min, the manager paraded up and down the registers without acknowledging that I was waiting, then the cashier came back to me and said the manager had to leave because he had an emergency. I never felt so belittled in my life. I had a doctors appointment I couldnt make on time because of this. I had to reschedule the appointment. I was just weeping. I felt like I was ganged up against by the employees of the post office. I really didnt want to make a scene until Desiree proceeded to not attend to the customer in front of her and was spitting insults at me. I really cant give enough description of that madness she displayed. Thank God for Antoinette ( another cashier) who called me and asked what happened and then resolved the issue for me. So, I could have walked out of there sooner? So I didnt even need a manager to resolve my issue? That cashier was just being on the defensive because she could have pointed out my mistake on Saturday but she didnt because the entire time on Saturday, she was talking to her coworker as she attended to me.

If you do not HAVE to use this P.O I strongly advise staying away! Hard to find parking, the only line for customers is longer than area in which to wait ALL YEAR ROUND and moves slow (expect to stand in line at LEAST 1 hour, and rude employees; I believe this is because the ethnic variety most likely to use this Office, most non-English speaking, anger workers, are always shipping international not using correct process described by USPS guidelines, or picking up same. This is no excuse for Employees to take it out on others - but I can understand how this may cause an attitude if you APPEAR you may not speak English - so even if you are capable of communicating, a U.S.citizen born and raised - you will be treated with prejudice. Most employees move unbelievably slow, as if on purpose and moreso than at SOME other Post Offices. Mail Delivery from this Office is even worse. Anyone Ive asked in zip codes handled here say they do not get delivery until after 2:00pm and closer to 5:00pm, when tracking shipments marked "delivery confirmed" 9 out 10 times it will arrive a couple days later or NOT AT ALL. Forget attempting to get information via phone number provided-, no one answers or if they DO pick up, will invariably leave you on Hold. Ill travel to nearby suburban Post Offices IF/WHEN I have a choice. Im writing this because EVERY ISSUE described ABOVE has been experienced by me TOO MANY TIMES.

These people are literally the scum of the Earth. Dont believe me? Go see for yourselves! Been in this part of town for only two months and have already had numerous problems. Management doesnt care so good luck trying to complain. The staff members dont care either. Basically just get ready to deal with sub par to nearly nonexistent mail service and there is nothing you can do about it because no one cares. If you get packages, go FedEx not UPS because UPS uses usps. Also ANYTHING important, anything at all, have delivered to a nearby friend or relative instead if you dont want your stuff "lost" which happens often because they dont like going to the store to buy their own things. They would rather take your possessions instead , along with your tax money. Also any packages that dont get lost are automatically defaulted to the post office probably because it requires work to carry all of those packages to be delivered. Im actually pretty sure they never leave the office in an attempt to be delivered at all they just see a package and automatically make a "sorry we missed you" slip. So again, use FedEx or have delivered to someone you can get it from. The rest of your mail that you cant do anything about, good luck. You will never see it.
