Horrible service! My mom is handicapped, has no transportation and has been receiving her medical supplies through the mail for years because of that and now all of a sudden the mail carrier is too lazy to bring it to the door. There was a slip in her mail box saying sorry we missed you but no one ever came to the door. My mom put on the slip that she wanted it re-delivered to the door but it never came because the mail carrier never took the slip out of the mailbox. I made a point of putting the slip into a drop box and the mail carrier brought the slip right back to my moms mailbox. My mom called the post office and they said they couldnt find the package, called back again and they said it would be delivered again. That was 3 days ago and it still hasnt been delivered and they have had it since Nov. 29th (16 days). The mail lady can stand at the mailboxes and flirt and do everything else but she cant take 2 seconds to bring a box to the door. She doesnt even put the mail in the right mailboxes. If I could put zero stars I would! This is ridiculous!!!

We have had several packages left at different houses in our neighborhood for two years. If the package will not fit in the mailbox I get a slip to go pick it up. I know they are not required to leave it at the door, but the courtesy of customer service would be appreciated. There is a reason I am ordering something and having it delivered. Now, I was waiting on a package to be delivered and after I got home yesterday we had no mail and no package. I checked the status and it is mark "undeliverable as addressed." I have been trying to call all day and no one has answered the phone. The customer service is terrible even for a government run agency. My expectations are not high but this is ridiculous.

This is THE worst office in ALL of Mobile, possibly the entire state. They are rude and unprofessional. Their employee, Stephanie Beasley answers the phone immediately being rude. Complaints to her supervisor, Leander Harris were met with an equal amount of hostility. They BOTH need to be fired. VERY unprofessional! I have filed a formal complaint against them. If anyone else needs the site it is: Office of public affairs and government relations (PRC.gov) PLEASE, if you have this happen too, COMPLAIN. These people need to be GONE and replaced with people who know how to conduct themselves in a manner more fitting with a job at a US post office!

If I had the option to give this 0 stars, I would because this place deserves it. My boyfriend had a package stolen because the carrier from this office left it of the front door step of our apartment even though they ARE NOT allowed to do so. After my boyfriend called and went to the branch several times, the manager claimed the office gave the carrier permission to leave it at the doorstep and refused to give him a refund so he lost like 60 dollars worth of items. This place is terrible, just ship through FedEx - its worth it not to deal with these idiots.

Lost cause. Rude staff and lazy carrier/sub carrier. Any package that can fit in my box gets delivered but the packages that DO NOT fit are undeliverable because this carrier will not walk away from the box and up stairs. Then when you call, the scream your name IS NOT in the mail box that they deliver your mail to EVERY DAY! I got so frustrated that I could not contain my anger with the agent (condescending and rude). HER NAME IS CHANTAL (sp). I can only hope that the consideration she bestows upon others is returned in th he same capacity......

This is the WORST post office ever!! Ive only lived in Mobile for two months and they are RIDICULOUS! Me and my fiancé have been waiting on 3 pieces of IMPORTANT mail that have been mailed out from 3 different places for over a week now! Like come on something should have made it here by now!! When I say ALL week long we havent received not the first piece of mail! Smh need new management & mail men ASAP!!! Just sorry

Ive encountered rude employees on multiple occasions. One refused to let me use a pen to correct an address on my package. Thankfully, a customer in line let me use hers...she also seemed perplexed at the employees rudeness. Seems like a bad environment compared to other post offices, like the one on Wesley Ave where the building is nicer, and the employees are helpful, and friendly.

Most incompetent staff I have ever had to deal with. Packages left at my doorstep to be stolen and when I had left specific instructions to leave items with my apartment office and they wont do it instead I am forced to drive across town weekly to get my mail. The employees are idiots and function at a three year old mental capacity. So done with this place!

They constantly lose my mail, staff except for supervisors are beyond rude. They make excuse after excuse for the local post man making mistakes, damaging mail, and losing packages. The older blonde lady at the counter is beyond rude and has rolled her eyes at me countless times. They need to clean house!!

Horrible customer service. Rude employees. Called asking about a package that another branch suggested we call them. Lady that answered the phone was ugly. In a loud voice said I had to call Theodore Branch, when I ask if I could have her name she hung up on me.

Package was not received, but said it was delivered. I called and opened a case to find out where it was. The branch was supposed to look and call me back. Its been over a week and I have still heard nothing. This is the second piece of mail I have had lost.

My mail lady sucks.! She doesnt deliver my mail half the time and the other half she doesnt pick up the mail in the mailbox. Im not the only one in my neighborhood who has problems with her. I I give the post office one star and that is one too many stars!

Keep your expectations low. This is a government run operation. However,, they keep the line moving at a reasonable pace. They close at 4:30 which is a bit early for those of us who work normal jobs.

my packages are only delivered every other time, mail is sent back before it tries to be delivered when the address is correct (obviously). there is NO reason these issues should even be happening.
