I sold an $80 package on ebay and spent another $10.50 on priority 2 day mail. Conveniently dropped it off in the lobby drop box at 6am so I wouldnt have to wait in line for 20 minutes. The package disappeared. I filed a complaint online, got a call 3 days later from a lady who called herself Patricia. She basically called me a liar, telling me there is no way my package could have disappeared since it goes into a wire cage and is picked up by the post office employee who immediately scans the packages. I have no reason to lie about a missing package, just wanted to know what happened to it. She told me I should have dropped it off with a clerk. I am a professional who works 7-5 everyday. She literally said the words, "what do you want me to do?" I have never experienced a less caring or understanding customer service representative than this woman. Do Not trust the "convenient" lobby drop boxes. I will be using a different post office now that I am out nearly $100.

This is the worst post office ever! I asked to get my delivery sent to work since I would be sure I would receive it. I go on lunch and I received a notification that my package was shipped, however I never received the package and it was not by my employer. The doors are locked, how can you deliver it when no one is here. I called a total of 4 times trying to find out where my package is and I keep getting the same answer..."let me ask the carrier" how about you call him because obviously I didnt receive it. The customer service is so bad so please try to save time money and energy and go to the post office in the next town. I wouldnt have even given it 1 star....but had no other option

Lazy, ignorant, zero common sense and just plain rude. Standing in a line with ten other tortured people with one dummy behind the counter and three other dummies walking back and forth avoiding work at all costs. When I finally get to the counter she acted like I was putting her out when she was forced to do her job. If I wouldve had a hammer I wouldve smashed all my fingers to ease the pain. If there was an option for zero stars I wouldve chosen that because they deserve nothing, one star is too good for them. In my opinion they are the biggest pieces of s**t mixed with hot dumpster juice. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Tracking said my package has been delivered but I never received them. I called this office branch for two times to look for my package. Whoever picked up my call always said she would need to contact the delivery person and call me back, but she never did. Shed been stalling me and I let them get away with it. Now that the same incident happened again! Two of my package were dropped off at the front door today according to the tracking record, but they mysteriously disappeared. I am standing up for myself this time and I wont stop until I find my packages

I was tracking a package to be delivered before last weekend. It tracked as mis-sent and called Pete at the Villa Park Post Office. He checked to make sure they received it at the facility in the AM and said it was out for delivery. He took the tracking number and my contact information. When I arrived home, I did see the package had been delivered and was about to call Pete and the phone rang and Pete said the carrier had returned and had delivered my package and asked if I recieved it. I said I did. Terrific follow up. Thanks Pete!

This is the worst mailing office ever.They have no idea about missing packages neither do they account for forwarding important mails.the customer has to go all the way making calls to find out about their package.Patricia , who handled my case was reckless. My package was lying in the office with no payed attention. Finally i got caddie help me.Please account for packages , they contain imporatnt information and we pay extra fees to get it before time.do not be so not concerned.

Terrible service, they left registered letter receipt on Saturday, we signed and dropped it off in the mailbox for carrier to take and delivery the letter to us, after waiting for 5 days, still letter is siting at the post office and post office supervisor tell us that they can not deliver the letter and we have to go and pick it up. he has no valid reason why they can not deliver the letter and when I asked for explanation, he was very rude and hung up the phone.

There is a lady whos very responsible and helpful. She helped me check every piece of information to make sure that the address was correct. Sometimes those ladies there might be a bit stressed when there are people waiting in line, but they are generally patient and willing to help you out.

horrible service they delivered my package to wrong location I asked for help they took my information and never called back I called back to be told I have to wait until the evening when they closed at 1pm never returning will go to Lombard instead much better service

I dont appreciate when the delivery person claims they cannot get into the residents when the main door to our building is always-on lacked the USPS special couriers have become very lazy and on dependable not alone liars
