Worst post office in the country!!! If I can give 0 stars....I would. I have been living in Mundelein for about three years now and I have had nothing but problems with this post office and the mail carrier that they have. Not only is he the dumbest person working there but when I call to file a complaint, the managers dont even care. Im actually surprised any mail gets delivered out of this office at all. The mail carrier withheld mail for a whole month from us and then delivered it all at the same time. Hes taken shutterfly envelopes and crinkled them into our mail box. Hes delivered the same letter to our house three times after weve told him its not for us. I finally had to take it to the person myself and do his job for him. He delivers packages to our house that arent even ours. And this last time he withheld our mail for the change of address 1 week early and the post office has yet to deliver my mail after the start date. Its so damn frustrating that I believe its better to fire the entire office and make it automated. At least I know if Im frustrated and speaking to a machine its understandable vs. talking to anyone from that office.

Usually the service there is okay, nothing fantastic. However, today when I went in there was a worker yelling at these two Chinese men who were trying to send out a package. She was very patronizing to the two men when they were having trouble filling out a form due to their short english. However something must have gone wrong because she refused to send out their package and sent them home? Unfortunately, I was up next and had to deal with her attitude. I tried to send out two packages but she refused to send them out because she said I packaged the parcels incorrectly? They were fine and taped up fairly well but the rude worker insisted that the packages were going to fall apart. So she tells me to buy some overpriced shipping tape when there clearly was some tape on her desk for patrons to use. In the end I could not even send out my packages and was very disappointed at the rude manner that this postal worker treated me and apparently other guests too.

Last Friday September 22, 2017, USPS attempted delivery of a parcel. I scheduled a redelivery with specific instructions that: I will be home all day tomorrow September 23, 2017. Upon checking my mailbox on Sunday September 24, 2017, I found a note stating: no one home at 1:55pm. This would have meant that someone came to my door, knocked and no one opened to collect the package when the reality was we were home all day awaiting the redelivery of this package and no one came. I called upon seeing this note and was told the following: - call tomorrow to speak to a supervisor - he is not a supervisor so he doesn’t know what I should do - sign the redelivery slip, check the Redelivery box and leave it in my mail box as the postman may see it and leave the package The rep was in a hurry to get me off the phone as: we only handle Amazon packages today; you’ll need to call back tomorrow to speak to a supervisor about your package.

For being a USPS Office, it is disorganized and unprofessional. It nearly looks like a 3rd world country on the inside. The staff are horrible. Misinformed and unwilling to help in any situation. I have found other USPS locations to be extremely helpful, but after going into this location, Id love to consider alternatives (i.e. FedEx / UPS). Poor Service, Poor Staff. I would expect that the staff to be fluent in English, but they arent. Im glad Im moving away from this Post Office.

Worst service experience ever had with this post office. I rescheduled a package delivery and I waited on it for whole day just to receive the package so that they do not take it back and leave me a slip. When I call to ask the status of my package, the lady hangs up the call after asking me to hold for 15 mins to never pick up call again before the end of business day. I would like to officially lodge a complaint by the kind of service that I have received.

This place is probably one of most unpleasant place i have ever went to! The staff is extremely rude! Horrible customer service! I work at a luxurious dealership and know the proper customer service and i can honestly say this place has no type of pleasant customer service! They really need better service this place is horrible!

Horrible service. Mail is suppose to get mailed to my house and I end up having to go pick it up and wait in line while theres only 2 people behind the counter for 10 people in line. No wonder theyre billions in debt.

This is a great place every one is so nice and helpful the one thing that I would love to see is if they would rebuild the post-office as it is very old other than that the staff is what makes you happy here

After they lost my package I shipped when I called to see what was going on they said they would call me back later in the day, I never received a call back.
