On most days, for simple things, there arent many problems I have with this office. But even then, they are not very good at managing peak hours of business; Ive never seen them use all three teller spots to cover a long line, and it seems like some of the tellers there are unnecessarily slow with each customer. Those things aside, the big problem with this office is the number of rude employees. If there are any complications (which there likely will be at some point) I tend to get someone there who is defensive, borderline aggressive; they treat you like you are an idiot, and never accept blame. The USPS lost a package of mine for a YEAR, and the representative I spoke to at this particular office invented a conspiracy to explain how it wasnt the USPS fault. That employee still has their job, and clearly has not been reprimanded for their behavior as they are still rude to customers. This employee has even repeated the phrase "we have no accountability" to customers with complaints, as if it was a good thing!

There are only few people at this location that are helpful, everything and everyone else is a NIGHTMARE!!! The lines are long, they take for ever to serve one person. Even buying few roll of stamps takes 10 minutes. I dont understand their logic. The more people you serve the more money the company will make, no wonder why USPS complains about not making enough money. On top of that I witness one of the customers being yelled at because he walked in through the entrance door. I had an issue with one of the packages that the tracking number was not working. I talked to the manager, who told me that there is no way of finding out where the shipped package was. On top of that she raised her voice at me told me that she has every right to yell at me. I think they have too much job security to treat customers that way. No wonder why ups and fed ex are becoming more successful.

I need to return a replacement item in the box that was sent me and the RMA label was emailed to me. I wasnt sure the appropriate way to attach it to the package so I waited until I got to the post office. The guy behind the counter (one of the only two people Ive ever seen working here) tells me I need to read the instructions and affix it to the package and come back. It was only then that I saw I could return it via USPS or FedEx. Happy, helpful, using initiative and quick versus sour, lazy, rude, cheap and depressing....Ill take FedEx any day over the USPS, especially this location!!!

I miss Woody! He was always so helpful and nice! Im a regular at this post office, so everyone is always very friendly to me. I feel like people expect terrible service at the post office, so they go there with a grumpy attitude, and then wonder why theyre treated poorly. Also...everyone always complains about waiting too long in line - what do you expect between 11:30-2? Everyones on their lunch hour, same as you. So yeah, youre gonna have to wait. Go earlier/later if you want to just run in/out. And be nice to postal service workers...they know where you live! <3

I have been a regular customer of this USPS office for fifteen years and have always received friendly, helpful and courteous service from all of the postal workers. Moreover, I have observed these same postal workers providing the same quality service to the other customers every time I have visited. I would not normally review the USPS office, but I was concerned with the number and high percentage of negative reviews I saw when I went on Google to check the office hours for tomorrow. My experience has always been positive.

Just want to get a simple price. 5000 options on the website, but not the one I need. Local phone number puts me to an automated system. Forced to listed to a dozen options I dont care about or need. Have been on hold listening to incessant reminders for services I will never use. Time spent, online ~20 minutes, time on hold (so far) 18 minutes. I could have driven there and back in less time.

Most days, they try hard, but service is inconsistent. Either understaffed or inefficient (not sure which, maybe both). I would like to suggest they do cross-training/employee exchange with Mundelein USPS office - much better experience anytime Ive used that facility. [This post refers to post office counter services, not delivery which has always been great.]

I wanted to get some questions answered for submitting application for a passport. The person on the phone was not bothered to understand my question & was mostly eager to hangup. gave me just useless answers. Was a very bad experience for me. I then called Arlington heights PO & the lady was VERY knowledgeable & extremely helpful.

Ive gone in several times to mail my textbooks and Ive never had an issue. The people are really nice behind the counter and both times mentioned to me that mailing textbooks is cheaper. So they saved me money as well. Im only giving it 3 stars because I did have to wait in line everytime otherwise Id give it 5 stars.

Really hit or miss on service. Sometimes they can be very rude but I typically dont have a problem with them. What is a serious problem is their line system. They will have 1 person during busy hours and they wont prioritize people that just need to drop off something or do something quick.

Always polite and friendly here. Why are people so impatient at the post office? Usually when theres a line its because the customers in front of you are unprepared, and not the employees fault. Plan ahead and have reasonable expectations (5-10 minutes) and youll be happy.

Service can be hit or miss. I sell on eBay and often need to drop off prepaid packages - most of the time, they make me wait in line! Annoying. My mail carrier is great but the people behind the counter are typically only marginally helpful and usually not friendly.

Employees are generally unhelpful and rude, if a package goes missing they treat you like youre a jerk/idiot for not insuring every single package you ship. I wish I had an alternative shipping option for everything I ship.

Friendly tellers however be prepared to stand in line forever and be late for wherever you need to be afterwards. They only have ONE person during peak times. They really can give two shits about it as well as your time

Slow working and talkative personnel with no sense of customer service. Laughing with friends and recommending Church service while working. Best example of not what to do at work.
