My mom sent a package with some of my boys cloths and some toys and stuff like that to me. She had the tracking notification on her side that the delivery attempt was failed and has returned back to post office. First of all, I was expecting the package and I was home ALL DAY LONG waiting for that package. Instead when I check the mail I had a wrong guys mail in my mail box. Ok, so I went to post office the next day, and asking if I could get my package. The lady named LULU was like I need the delivery ticket. Ok, I told her they never left one because I am pretty sure that the delivery person miss delivered to wrong house, since I was home all day and my mom got the message that the delivery was failed because nobody was home. I was trying to explain the situation but she wouldnt listen, she kept saying SIR!, I cant do anything without the ticket. So I asked her nicely, if you could please check the package if you have it. I had my driver liscense ready. She told me there was NOTHING in the back. she told me to go get the ticket. She didnt get my point, I dont have the ticket since you guys delivered to wrong house!!. Ok so I called my mom, who lives in overseas, and it was like 4 am there. I had to wake her up to get the delivery tracking number. So I finally got the number after calling her and waking her up in the middle of the night. I was waiting in the line with the tracking number. As I was waiting there was another person who was helping customers for pick ups. I raised my hand for pick up and he took me to window. He told me to see an id and he brought out the Package. He didnt need the tracking number whatsoever. I was ready to punch her in the face but then there were too many people. So on the way out of the office I waved her, Hello? I thought you didnt have the package. What is this ? the one im carrying? Thank you for much for nice customer service!!" I cannot stand people like this, who gets payed without doing their job done. She even gave me attitude while i was asking nicely, she kept saying SIR?! I told you i cant do anything without the tracking number." I am SO PISSED!!!!

This is the worst post office to go to. They are absolutely the least educated individuals when it comes to any issues or when you just need a simple passport done. Its unbelievable. So my passport was damaged because of their job to deliver it to the Chicago state of passport agency. And so when you do any passport it costs 135 dollars. I received a letter from the head office saying I am eligible for all my expenses to be reimbursed and then resubmit my whole passport all over again. Now the fact I got to waste another 4 hours doing this all over again. But not only did I have to do that. They told me it is not enough. I need to have another letter that specifically says their money order is damaged, on paper. Well on my letter it said all documents affiliated with the transfer has all been damaged. That means also the money order. They still would not comply. Now I also had a agent on the phone who was directly from the hotline and they said on the phone it was all damaged! Not only did they say again, we need it on paper they would not want to call the hotline themselves to their supervisor! Are you kidding me?! I even had the letter, supervisor, everything man! And they still wouldnt let that happen. Unbelievable. Worst customer service ever. Would not even do their job right. If I have the letter signed and in my hand, and a agent on the phone with their number on it, they denied me. Unbelievable. CALL THE DAMN PLACE AND YOU CAN SEE I AM ELIGIBLE. Its like you are talking to the people who will do the bare minimum for their job. God.

Zero Stars. This post office is constantly busy and the wait times are insane. I live nearby so anytime I drop things off I usually wait about 20 minutes. There is nothing stating online that you need an appointment to get a passport. And dont think about trying to call them...NO ONE answers the phones. I see it every time I go, it rings and no one event flinches. There is also no indication where the actual passport office is so you have to stand in the long line to ask a question. Then the answer to your question will be trite and rude and you will be told "we only take appointments and we are booked for months" At least one guy there--who wasnt in charge of passports told me that I should go to Vernon Township to take care of it. My advice: get your photo a walgreens and go to Vernon Township. They answer the phones and the service is much better. The US Postal Service is a joke.

Incompetent to the point of disbelief. I have contacted the local post office management four times. I have contacted the main office at the 800-number twice. Nothing gets corrected. The representatives at the 800-number told me (can you believe this?) that it is useless to leave another complaint because it will just get transferred over to the local office, which as I already mentioned, fails to address the issues. My packages get damaged over and over again. Why? Because an incompetent delivery person keeps leaving them in a pile of dirt next to the driveway instead of taking them to the door. No repercussions. Typical government organization. I just made my 5th call about yet another soaked through box and not holding my breath about a resolution. Media will be my next step.

I came to purchase a stamp for my return envelope of priority mail. The clerk there asked me to buy it at stamp kiosk. The machine printed out a stamp. I asked clerks there if I can use it on other dates, they all said yes. They told me this is just like a regular stamp. So I mailed it to a business in another state. But when the business mails it back to me, the post office there refused to honor the stamp. They said the stamp has to be used on the same date purchased. What kind of training Buffalo Grove post office received? For all these years, they still dont know this? And they told me this type of stamp cannot be refund. WHAT?! No wonder post office is things of past. I wont be sorry if it goes out of business. -A angry customer

In the past 3 months Ive been having problems with the delivery of my mail. Since the regular mailman left,I dont get most of my first class letters, including pay checks,bank statements etc. On the top of it,lately few of my packages went missing, although for one of them showed " delivered ", but it never was.Ive talked to the supervisor many times ,but every time the answer is ,Sorry nothing we can do.Well I want my mail!Needles to say last week Ive had a call from my credit card about unauthorized charges, so now I have to go through a lot of BS. So please avoid this location at all costs because they are rude,unprofessional and unhelpful!
