I stopped in to check the place out, get pricing, talk to them about stylists and the front desk receptionist was very helpful and friendly. She recommended someone that she felt would be a good match for me and I made the appointment I was blown away at the reception I got. Then I went for the appointment and was again greeted by a different person but equally as friendly and welcoming as the first time which answered my question as to whether it had been just that first person or were they all extraordinary? Then I met my stylist. She came over to me enthusiastically, shaking my hand and very friendly. Wow! I was starting to feel like I was in alternate universe! She took me back to her station and we discussed thoroughly what to do. I showed her a picture and she told me realistically what I could expect with my hair texture and lifestyle. She pulled up a picture on Pinterest that was easier for me to manage but still appropriate for my hair texture. She was friendly and open and throughout the entire process I was wowed. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the shampoo stations come with an ottoman and heated towel wrapped around your neck making that a very comfortable experience. The whole vibe of the place was overflowing positive and felt genuine. And I love my new style! (An added note: I had gotten my hair cut a week ago somewhere else, showing them the same picture and had a completely different experience, which is why I was getting another haircut within a week). I would be very surprised if someone ever came out of here unhappy.

I called and was told this is a "high end" salon. The ONLY thing high end are their outrageous prices. I had a young girl named Caitlin do my hair. She was very very sweet, but she is very inexperienced both in hair and in professionalism. First, my haircut was horrible and now I need to find someone to fix her horrible cut she did. Its uneven. She used only the razor and she told me this salon only uses razor cuts. I said I dont like razor cuts because it makes my hair frizzy. She reassured me that it wouldnt happen, but it did. Also, my hair is cut unevenly. Next, she needs to learn to not talk so much. Every time she told me a story, she stopped working. She could have gotten things done in half the time had she not stopped to talk. And lastly, they tried to charge me $20 for a consultation. I have never been charged trying to tell someone what kind of cut I wanted. Thats dosed to be part of the deal. These stylists think theyre the only salon around. There are HUNDREDS who wont rip people off and they have better training. Dont waste your hard earned money here.

Im rather picky about my hair, so when my co-worker referred me to Karin I was skeptical. Right from the consultation she put me at ease. Appointment was set for cut and highlights. She listened to me and respected what I had said but also was able to say lets do this instead to minimize my problem area. I have seen her many times since. I found Karin and her partners to be very professional, knowledgeable, caring, sweet, & uplifting! Karin is so wonderful that she even came in on her day off to accommodate me! Their shampoos & stuff are vegan (which I thought was odd, til I tried it) I noticed less hair loss, shiner, & softer hair while using their products. You cant go wrong with any of these girls! Karin & Salon Mackk are great!

I LOVE LOVE going to Salon Mackk!!! All of the staff are friendly and kind! I have been going to the salon for almost 4 years now and have Chrissy as my stylist. She is so professional and knows how to make you feel so pretty. She gives good and honest advice. All the stylists are so talented there. I love that the girls go to different seminars to keep up on the latest trends always bettering their talent. I feel like a million bucks when I leave the salon. They carry great products like Surface and Redken, which I love and they are really good for your hair. I highly recommend Chrissy to do your hair but actually any of the stylists that work there are awesome!!!! ;)

Everyone who says the prices are outrageous can go to Supercuts or Sport Clips and get a mediocre haircut. If you want a great experience and awesome hair you LOVE, go here. Ive been to salon mackk several times, seeing a different stylist almost every time. They are ALL great and very personable. Ive only gone for cuts but I love the way they style my hair. Also they do not hold back on the head massage which is great. Im really picky about my cowlicks and they let me use the straightener to fix it myself so I can get really close to the scalp and have it the way I like. Love the girls here! Now, to get my fiancé to come here...

i had had a very bad experience at the salon I had been going to for almost a year. I was looking for more of an upscale salon and professional stylist. My coworker suggested Salon Mackk. I got lucky and was able to get an appointment the day I called. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt pampered. I was given a tour of the salon and information regarding the products used. The stylist listened to my needs and also made suggestions. The shampoo, condition and head massage was very relaxing. The color she suggested worked out fabulously. My hair looks and feels GREAT!!!

Caitlin Walker ROCKS! I was a color virgin and now I am rockin some awesome highlights/low lights (which I never knew what that was!) thanks to **My Stylist** love being able to say I have a stylist too!!! The moment you walk into Salon Mackk your day fades away and its all about you.....who doesnt love that! I would highly recommend everyone to treat yourself to a trip to Salon Mackk

I have had a wonderful experience every time Ive visited Salon Mackk. Typically, I go to Karin (who is fabulous) but there have been times when I have had the other girls on staff assist with my hair, eyebrows, etc. and the rest of their staff has been nothing but professional and helpful. I would highly recommend this salon.

I havnt had my hair cut in almost two years so I was nervous about finding someone new since I recently moved. I was referred to Chrissy and she was amazing. She gave me a great cut and my hair feels so healthy now! The atmosphere of the salon is great and its super cute. The front desk was also very nice and attentive!
