I thought about driving the hour home for a cut at my usual place, but decided to go with a well-reviewed local place instead. I biked over, the wait was short, but two things really ruined my experience: As soon as I sat down the gentleman asked me how I usually keep my hair, what products I use (its curls around the edges, and goes afro if I dont use mousse). Before I could even say what I was in for or how I wanted it cut he proceeded to tell me I was ruining my hair and "their" product (holding it 3 inches from my face now that Im in the chair) was what I needed to buy. It took me 3 attempts to get him to confirm that I just wanted a 1/2 inch trim all around to tidy it up. If I was a regular and actually knew this guy, maybe Id want to take his advice. But on a first visit? Bad first impression. Haircut was horrendous. I have no hair, sitting here back at home. I asked for 1/2 inch (my hair was maybe 3/4 down my ears), and he just went to town. Im left with this tuft on top of my head, because he claimed he "knew what would look good". That simply doesnt give you creative freedom when I ASKED for a simple trim. Its going to take a couple months for it to grow back, but I certainly wont be.

Walked in the door and was immediately sat down for a haircut. I am very pleased with the out come and the guy who cut my hair took his time and made sure he got it right. Ten out of ten would recommend I am defiantly going here for future hair cuts.

Great place for a real mans haircut. I go in to get my beard trimmed and head buzzed on occassion (Im just not that good at it myself) and though theres always a line, I usually get through quick, and they usually give me the buzz for free!
