Just started going to this location two months ago and the customer services is none existent. Based on my last experience I will never return to this location. Made an appointment four days out and on day of appointment was told by the receptionist she could not initially find my appointment but to have a seat and she will let me know. Thirty minutes after my scheduled appointment I asked the receptionist if she found my appointment and she said she could not find. Asking how long she was going to let me wait until she told me this she just looked at me with a blank stare. Her reaction was more of all well you just need to wait and hope something will open up, no apoligy from her or the manager for losing the appointment. Drove to Great Clips waited 5 minutes for a haircut. It cost $1 more but worth it.

Ive gone in the past. I like to just show up. In the past Ive had to wait so Ive ended up going to other places close by that usually dont have me waiting. A couple of the nearby places seem to be knock offs of this place. I was in Darboy this past week and needed a haircut so I figured Id give it another try. It looks like they made their place a lot bigger which was confirmed by the stylist that cut my hair (Ashley I think). I think they did this to address complaints about long wait times?? My experience was great. The place was pretty busy but people seemed to be flowing in and out pretty smooth. It was actually kind of a nice vibe as far as getting your haircut goes. The gal did a great job. Funny I hesitate to write this review cuz selfishly I dont want them to get overly busy.

(Edit) A year later, and Jen H. Is still our go to! Weve had last minute haircuts other places and seriously regret it every time! Thanks again Jen! My husband has always had bad luck when it comes to getting a good hair cut. I told him to try The Barbershop in Darboy and he was reluctant. (He told me he didnt want any ladies putting boobs on him, lol!) I told him that sort of thing definitely doesnt happen at a barbershop! So he finally went, and for the first time ever, I approved of his haircut! He also said that he enjoyed the atmosphere, and Jen H. didnt even put her boobs on him, lol! Hes gone to her ever since, and she always does an awesome job! Thanks Jen!

I saw Stacey on 10.5.15 at the Darboy location. Shes friendly and easy going. Shes very good at getting my cut just the way I like it. She is engaging and asks good questions, open ended and closing questions, yes/no, to be sure that Im going to be satisfied with how and what she does to my hair. Details are important in everything and she took care of those hairs on my neck and ears, which is a big deal for me, no hair cut is complete without that, I believe. Just to add, all of the ladies at this location are always accommodating, friendly, and engaging when you walk in the door. This is a great way to welcome guests into the environment.

Called in at 11:00AM to make reservation for a 11:40AM appointment. i was concerned i would have to wait because the entire room was full of people when i was walking in the door at exactly 11:40am, store clock. i checked in at desk and sat down in waiting area for 30 seconds. got my cut. it was very comfortable, relaxing, and good environment/vibe. they held my scheduled time promise. i was happy with my cut and the ladys name, which i think is Leah, was very nice. will come again. i dont think i would want to go there without an appointment. will definitely call every single time. :O. CALL AHEAD and DONT BE LATE!

I have two sons and they have been getting their hair cut here for years. I used to go to any stylist available but we now make appointments for two specific stylists that have done an amazing job with my boys hair. My youngest goes to Lori and my oldest goes to Jen H. They have taught me how to best style my kids hair and keep me informed on how they are cutting it to best work with each childs hair. Lori has even fixed a bad hair cut my son had by someone else. They both do a great job of making my boys feel like handsome little men. My kids love the peanuts as well:)

My husband and son have been going there since they opened. Overall, their experience has been good. However, TWICE now, my husband called and made an appointment and when he got there they didnt have it. The receiptionist tried to tell him he probably called the wrong shop. NO, NO, he carries the card they gave him in his wallet and we checked the number to find he had the right number for that location. The Salon messed up. They made him reschedule for another day. Very annoyed. Not sure if my husband will give them another chance or not.

Dont plan on getting a haircut if you didnt make an appointment...... receptionist at front desk told me 30 min wait, at 45 min she ask if i would like to scheduled an appointment at 75 min and only two walk ins in front of me they called my name. This in my book is absolutely ridiculous. My stylist even told me that walk in are just fillers for the day. Dont advertise walk ins accepted, unless you can get to them in a reasonable amount of time. this has happened to me the last two time i have gone in. i will no longer be going to the place...

I moved to the valley threw years ago and one of the toughest things for me to find was a barber. That is, until, I found the barbershop and Ashley S. I cant say enough how awesome the Darboy location is and how Ashley S is truly the best. Ive waited a year and a half to write a review to see if shed mess up but she hasnt. Shes earned my trust and I will not go anywhere else. Not only is she a great barber but shes fun to talk to and makes you feel super important. Stop looking for a barber and call Ash S at Darboy!!!

I am here right now with my step dad and the ladies that work here are loud, annoying, obnoxious, and extremely flirtatious. They are all over these men and its pretty bad. They are saying things like "I would take you home!" "Id let you throw some cash on me!" And referred to multiple men as "sweetie", "cutie", and "honey". Its truly disgusting and plain out annoying. They are yelling, complaining, and extremely flamboyant. Maybe they are just having fun, but it comes across as rude, sloppy, and very annoying.

As other comments state I walked in 1 minute late to a scheduled appointment. I was told I was 5 minutes late and they had to move on. No apologies. Haircut was for a wedding. I asked manager about the policy. I was told they called me when I was late, the one minute, no missed calls. I was then told there isnt a policy of 5 minutes, but it is up to stylist. Lies on lies. The two previous times to this they lost my appointment. No calls then either. I would highly suggest finding a new place to get a haircut.
