Three words to describe this Auto Repair Shop… OH MY GOD!! THE BEST!! I have been using my parent’s second vehicle for the past 6 months because my car engine blew. Their car is a 2000 Town and Country minivan. Over the past 6 months had it in and out of their local mechanic, put bits and pieces on it to keep it running but yet the car would not go over 50 mph without shaking. Every time I took it back to their mechanic he would say everything is fine and replace bits and pieces, can’t find the issue say’s take it to a dealer. I was like oh heck NO, might as well buy the new car and take on pmts. Well last week the car started shaking at 35 mph, I am not ready for car pmts so I started looking on google for a Auto Repair place closer to home, Skokie, nothing sounding good or had good reviews. I looked in Des Plaines and BAM!! There it was the DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH!! Accurate Auto Clinic!!! Called them on Monday, spoke to Larry he said see you tomorrow, Tuesday arrived at 8 am, by 8:15 He handed me keys to a loner and my car was being taken care of!! Off to work. The Quote was Right on the money even $7.00 less! The entire front was shot. Struts, stabilizer, axel, tie rods, rear shocks, tune up, oil change , serpentine belt and they even cleaned the inside of the car!! Car Ready next Day Wednesday at 10 AM!! and then started it up and came the OMG… Rides like a brand NEW Car!! Awesome Service, ( Thank you Larry! Awesome Staff (Thank you Jennifer) and the car is PERFECT, Better than when my Dad bought it used 10 yrs ago. Can’t Thank Accurate Auto Clinic Enough!! I recommend them to Everyone! Stop looking and go here!! FINALLY A MECHANIC YOU CAN TRUST!! And Love the you Tube Video of Mike the Owner. Truly a Great, Trustworthy Auto Repair Place with FREE Loners!! Can’t top that!! My vehicle died on my way into Chicago and AAA suggested I have it towed here. Im from Michigan, what do I know about Chicago mechanics? So I left the van and the keys with a note (because cars dont die between 9-5, do they?). I got a call the next morning from a polite gentleman informing me that theyd need to charge $95 to diagnose the issue. Ouch, but OK, what can I do? Turned out the radiator had leaked into the transmission and both now needed replacing. The van was already over 200k and on its 3rd transmission so I decided to pull the plug. The gentleman at Accurate Auto Clinic was very accommodating. Told me hed leave the vehicle unlocked for me to retrieve my belongings after hours and would take care of the van if Id send the title. They even waived the $95. So Im pleased. Thanks AAC!

We were driving into OHare when the brakes on our 99 Plymouth Voyager failed. We contacted AAA, who recommended Accurate Auto. We are from Wisconsin, so we dropped our car at Accurate in Des Plaines, rented a car and drove home on 8/6. Being referred to Accurate was like winning the Auto Repair Lottery. I dealt with Steve, who promptly and expertly repaired the vehicle AND, as an additional gesture of good will, picked me up from the place where I returned our rental car and drove me back to Accurate. The only reason we wouldnt use Accurate again is that, living in Madison WI, its a long way to go to have our car serviced. If there is a rating service for Bumper to Bumper facilities, Accurate Auto should be at the platinum level, or whatever their highest level is. John

Over the last few years, Ive flooded my engine, killed my spark plugs, frozen my wiper fluid reservoir, and used the wrong turn signal bulbs, and Ive needed new window motors, oil changes, electrical wiring repair, and a new backup lamp switch. I brought my car to Accurate Auto for every one of those repairs (including the oil changes!) and will continue to do so in the future. I always feel their pricing is fair and competitive, and I appreciate that they call to tell me a final quote before they begin any repair work. Being able to trust your auto mechanic is invaluable, and I am forever grateful to have found that in Accurate Auto!

I dropped my car at Accurate Auto in Des Plaines for routine maintenance service and a mysterious tire leak. Accurates service adviser listened to my requests, completed a service order told me that if anything else was found I would receive a call. They found the source of the tire leak and performed the necessary maintenance in short order. The car was returned to me washed and ready to go. There is no need to be anxious about visiting Accurate Auto in Des Plaines when your vehicle needs some repairs or maintenance. Mike and his team are a first class operation.

Awesome Job! I took my 97 Chevy Caviler in to get an over heating problem taken care of. They lent me a loaner car at no cost only have to fill up tank upon return, had my car fixed in a day, as well as fixing my muffler which was hang off an no cost! Unbelievably great costumer service! Will be coming here for all my Auto needs!
