After reading over other reviews (that were posted over a year ago) I have to disagree with most of them. I joined at this location a little more than a month ago for $1 down and $10 a month with no commitment (still have an annual $35 fee). I love this gym. I can go there whenever I want because its 24 hrs (dont like the crowds) and no one bothers you. Not sure about the guys, but as a female thats a huge PLUS. Thats one reason I never joined a gym. You get guys trying to hit on you while youre all sweaty and trying to workout & youre not there for that. The staff is very helpful, the gym is very clean, the equipment is well kept and easy to use and they have plenty of lockers, clean bathrooms and I love the atmosphere. Going to a gym can be kind of intimidating if youve never gone before but I feel like this place is so laid back and comfortable for everyone no matter their fitness level. I do like that they discourage trainers and body builders for those who are intimidated. My advice, everything isnt for everybody but you should definitely check this location out if its convenient for you and judge for yourself. If you just want to workout and be left alone in a clean friendly environment, come here. If youre looking for extra perks with a members only vibe, might wanna go someplace else.

If you just want a basic, no frills place to work out this is it. For $10 a month, plus some really dumb annual maintenance and start-up fees, you get access to all the equipment, locker room with showers, and small group training sessions. For $20 a month, and slightly less but still really dumb annual and start-up fees, you get all I just mentioned plus unlimited guest passes, unlimited tanning, access to all their locations, and use of the massage chairs. I opted for the cheaper option. I really like the 30 minute workout but I find it hard to clean the equipment between machines. Its a race against the green light to get to the next machine and the cleaner is in one location in one corner of the 30 minute workout area later. Ill have a system down soon... OK, so everyone seems to love the free pizza Mondays. This turned me off at first and made me not want to join. When I went for a tour before I signed up I asked about the pizza thing. My impression was that pizza is a little contradictory to the whole working out thing. But then he explained that its like a rewards and that they assume everyone works their ass off on a regular basis and they deserve it. OK. And I deserve the Tootsie Rolls I grab from the front desk as I leave too!

This place is pretty Awesome! I Moved into the neighborhood and was looking to join a gym after gaining 30 pounds this past 6 months. I dont need wrestling mats or 200lb dumbbells. What I need is a place where I can lift some weight do some cardio and get back into shape. Planet Fitness has the equipment you need to do this. My ONLY turnoff was the fact that they dont have barbells! So I cant do dead lifting, bench pressing, or squats with a barbells. I have to do these workouts with either a smith machine or dumbbells (I choose dumbbells cause smith machines are the devil). What sealed the deal was the CRAZY low price of $10 a month AND the fact that theyre open 24/7 365 days a year! Thats Awesome. Im there anywhere between 5am and 11 am monday-friday like clockwork!

This gym is a nice place to go if you are looking to get in a workout that doesnt involve being a meat head and are not looking for aerobic classes. The facility is clean and the staff is nice. I dont agree with the reviews below because they explain to you that you have to clean the tanning beds after each use, that you will be charged an annual fee on a certain date, and that there is a cancellation fee if you cancel before the end of the year. They explain the contract right then and there when you sign up. There is hardly anything to the contract, so it is pretty self explanatory. It is $10 or $20 per month depending on which option you chose and it is open 24/7. How can people possible complain about it?

I agree with others that the lockers, especially the bathrooms need more attention for clean. The machines and workout area is continuously being cleaned though and I definitely appreciate that since its where the grim would build up the fastest. The customer service desk is not the most approachable though. Most of the morning, around 9am to be exact, look like I owe them money when I walk in. They can be a little intimidating to approach with any questions of working out, even though the gym advertises that they can train you for free.

This gym went downhill. The equipment is all run down. Employees are all rude and off in their own little world. The tanning beds suck. Doesnt have a good vibe to it. Planet Fitness in Mt Juliet, TN actually has a nice area for black card members where you have to go through a door and you have tanning beds, red light beds, massage beds and chairs in there. Plus all the equipment is in good condition and the tanning rooms actually have A/C units in them. It sucks coming back here after getting used to a nice Planet Fitness location.

Canceled my membership - Its a low cost monthly fee because they give you nothing * A location Down Town is needed * Pilates or Aerobics class is needed * Never motivated to workout when I entered the gym * A good workout should include a class with an instructor A gym with more amenities is better. A swimming pool, A steam room and a path to run. How ignorant that I needed to go in person to cancel my membership. This is a Tech generation.

This place is always clean! I come in late from 10-6am and these guys are always working hard and great to even chat with, you can tell when people are actually happy in the work place. This my other favorite location thats close to home. Ill always be back here. It is on the smaller side not as many machines and doesnt have hydrobeds or the cross training area but you can still make due here! Keep up the great work guys!!

If you guys are planning on joining READ OVER YOUR CONTRACT CAREFULLY. They have an annual fee of 35 dollars I think and if you want to cancel your membership after the 1 year you have to do it by mail or in person or else they will charge you for the next month. They dont do automatic cancelation after the one year. Great place I have to admit that but the staff are very misinformative.

The customer service in this place is very sorry. Very ignorant. Thats how you get people to not sign up for a membership. Theres plenty of other people who need a job. They need to higher friendlier staff with customer service skills. They dont give out 1day try out passes. They dont explain contracts so make sure you know what your signing.

This is an good health club for the amount I paid per month. Only couple things they should improve. The cleanness. Sometimes the locker room are kind of mess. But not too bad. And also, They should have Wi Fi available. The little gym I was going before have it ( the only thing I miss from my last gym). But the facilities are good.
