I had two horrible experiences. My stylist couldnt do something simple as curling and teasing my hair. When I said I wasnt happy with it.. infact I could have done a much better job myself. The supervisor Melissa blamed it on me saying my hair doesnt hold a curl when I curl it all the time. My stylist didnt even know how to tease my hair let alone curl it and tge supervisor wouldnt give me a coupon or voucher or anything. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! Youll only get ripped off and be disappointed. Worst place Ive ever gone.

It started out well but service deteriorated soon after. Donna did a great cut two times previously. The last appointment I made another appointment a month in advance. Went for my appointment today and Donna says she is running late. I was ten minutes early. Donna said it would be another 20 minutes. Hair Performers sent a text as a reminder. If she overbooked that is not my problem. What is this United Airlines? What are appointments for?

Ive been going to Hair Performers since before it was Hair Performers and Ive always had a great experience. I dont have a specific person I see every time - I just see whoever happens to be free. Im super simple with my hair - trim and layers and no styling or anything, but Ive always liked the final result. Last time I was there I also got my eyebrows waxed for convenience and they turned out very nice.

I had virgin hair, and after I went to this place, I never wanted to dye my hair again. They did a horrible job. I asked for balayage and they dyed half my hair dark and the other half bleach blonde. 1 star is too much. They deserve 0. I ended up paying $250 dollars for them to ruin my hair and then $25 for them to cut half of it off because of how horribly they dyed it.

My hair dresser Donna is the best. She is the number one reason I drive from Joliet to Hickory Hills to get my haircut. I leave happy with cut, and the occasional color/highlights. I get compliments from others on how nice my hair is cut and colored. The other women there are very friendly and polite. They greet me by my first name, that is nice.

I had my color done by Crystal and it was perfect. But when I went back I found out she left and is working somewhere else. If anyone knows where please post. I had someone else last time and I wasnt that happy with the color. The oil treatments they do there are great though. I will go back for sure to get another oil treatment done.

Horrible place , they dont know how to take appointments. People are busy that is why they call a week ahead to schedule an appointment only to get a call a day before and say that they "overbooked" . Very unprofessional. Not worth your time , go somewhere else.

Love Love Love this place! Erin is my girl! All the stylist at the salon are amazing so you cant go wrong. They really care about their clients and go above and beyond to make you happy. I seriously wont go anywhere else.
