This place cuts everything from flat tops to mullets. Five chairs, six different barbers. Never had a bad haircut from any of them. The place is first come, first served - they dont take appointments. Usually always crowded, but the longest Ive ever waited was 25 minutes. The best part is all haircuts are $10. Thats right $10. Try and beat that price and get a great cut somewhere else if you can - but I doubt you can! I never ask for any one of the barbers specifically, but if I had to choose, I would choose Liz!

Agree with Kyle below.... This barber shop is great ! It has an authentic feeling with real skilled barbers. The place looks really ANTIQUE in the touristy town of Libertyville. It is hidden behind all posh shops and restaurants and one will never imagine that a high quality barber shop charges only 10$ per haircut. And that too for a quality job ! Guess thats the reason why this place is busy as compared to other chains. Good Luck to the team of barbers and proud to promote local business.

I took my 2.5 year old son to get his hair cut here yesterday and it was an easy, quick, and painless experience. We got in right away and the barber (I didnt catch his name but he was at the far end of the shop, near the back door) was really friendly. He was able to engage with my shy son and he kept encouraging him saying "youre doing great/youre such a good listener" so that was nice and made us feel at ease. Great trip all around, would def go back!

I get a great haircut every time. I have a favorite barber, Cully, so Im viewed as "waiting". He tells me when Im "up". If hes not there, the rest of crew does fine. Ive had $60 haircuts with the wash etc, but they were no better than what I get at the walk in at the Liberty. Ive since moved 20 miles south but still go back to the Liberty for haircuts.

These people are really genuine. If you are looking for a great haircut, go here. Its one of the only original shops from Libertyville and the experience is really amazing. Ive been going for 5 years plus and have yet to receive something I didnt ask for. And a haircut for $10? I always tip because they really do deserve more. Great place.

Ive been looking for a barber shop that can do a real flat top. I retired from the Navy in 1998 and have been going from hack to hack looking for a place that can get the job done. Well let me tell you I have found it. Old school type shop, 5 chairs, quick service, friendly people and a heck of a $10.00 haircut. Ill be going back again.

This place refuses service to women with undercuts and shaved heads, citing "tradition" and wanting to keep the place "old-school." Very disappointing. Not only is refusing service based on gender sexist and gross, its also illegal. Now that I know what kind of shop theyre running, Im happy to take my business elsewhere!

Denies services to women, even if they have a hairstyle that is typically done at a barbershop, such as undercuts and fades. Incredibly sexist, especially when a man with the exact hairstyle can get it done no problem but a woman would be denied just by her gender.

This is a Libertyville staple. Not much changes here, and that is a great thing. Still $10 for a haircut. A great cut too. The staff are all awesome people who care about each person who sits in their chairs as if you were a visiting family member.

Fantastic place to get a haircut. Straight to the point, no BS....just like its supposed to be. They cut your hair only charge you $10 and send you on your way looking great.
