I had a very poor experience this morning. I am not familiar with the customer service that is required of a post office but I would assume it would be in line with that of any normal business. I was disappointed today when I called and was not helped at all. I called looking for a package and was told I needed to get a tracking number, I provided the tracking number that UPS had given me and I was immediately interrupted and told this was not the tracking number they needed and that without their USPS tracking number I could not be helped. I was rudely told to go to ups and get it.. like a dog playing fetch. I understand that may be the policy or the process that Everyone needs to go through.. but I would have appreciated a little bit more help, a little more explanation and not just a "Go to UPS and get the number, theres nothing I can do for you". So I went to UPS, got the tracking number like a good boy. Called back with the proper number and waited again to be helped. This time the response was "this package is undeliverable and is not here". Again, no explanation and no help of any sort. I understand the package is not being delivered.. that is why I am calling the Post office mam, otherwise I do not get much joy out of making calls to post offices on a daily basis. Not really my thing. She was again very unhelpful in telling me I need to contact the seller now and figure it out with them....? really? you HAVE the package... maybe its not in YOUR post office,, but USPS has it somewhere.. and I am being told I cannot get it? I am not an expert in how the mail system works.. but I would assume if you were to have something of mine and I was trying to get it.. the process would not be this encrypt. Now I have no idea as to what to do and where to get my Halloween costume that I need by the end of the week. I am fairly certain a more competent or even nicer human being would have been able to help me this morning, but the person that answered the phone was in no mood to help me. I am not offended because I work in Sales and understand how it can be sometimes on the phone with a customer... but i was not treated like a customer today... I was treated like a stranger.

Horrible customer service. Employees treat customers with disrespect and dont know the proper rules and regulations for shipping. I have had to pay more for sending out a package than I have at another post office consistently. Take your shipments elsewhere.

Bad Bad I drop a pc of mail yesterday around 9:20 am and as of today 5/31 they have not seen my package ansd I personally dropped on the big Blue Bopxes and now my PC of mail is lost.....

They seemed a little stressed out and understaffed but thats not the staffs fault. I was in and out pretty quickly!
