I have naturally curly hair, yet I have made poor and uneducated hair choices over the past year that have damaged my hair making it really difficult to take color, and sometimes it would even come out an awkward color. I had been trying to find a salon that I could trust and knew how to handle my type of hair. I came across Mint Salon and heard all wonderful things about it. So I tried it. I LOVE IT!! The salon has the nicest staff I have ever met. Since I am so careful and picky about my hair now, I can be kind of obnoxious with questions, yet the staff was soooo patient and intelligent and knew their products + what they were doing. My hair looks AMAZING. Plus, the salon is super cool looking. The way its decorated is inviting and cozy, and also edgy, something for everyone. With that said, as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted like I had been there before and was instantly impressed. The wonderful hair service finalized my opinion. My review is completely honest as I have never been here before nor did I know any of the stylists until yesterday. Im just that happy with my service!

Went to Mint for a balayage color service. I saw Kendra and she gave me highlights instead. When I went back to fix it since it wasnt what I wanted and she put more bleach on my ends and didnt tone it or anything so it was just blocks of yellow hair leftover. I asked for a refund and they are refusing. I had to pay almost double what I paid here in order to get proper color correction at another salon. Even the new stylist told me that my hair color was REALLY messed up and whoever did it had no idea what they were doing. DO NOT GET COLOR SERVICE HERE or at least not balayage or ombre because they dont know how to do it.

I seen the owner Liz a few weeks ago and I have to give her and the salon 5 stars! I have been to so many high end salons trying to find a salon that can color my hair and make it NOT BRASSY. I wanted the Violet blonde tone. I finally got it!!! The price was also not outrageous and Liz was very professional. I can tell she is an expert at her craft. My grandma who is so super picky even went to Liz for a haircut and WOW when she came back...BEST HAIRCUT SHES EVER HAD! She even said " I feel sassy. I Love my new hair cut. I found my new salon." Cant wait for my next appt!

Love this salon. Very talented and nice staff. You do not feel rushed..they will help you with color and style choices. Not really expensive for a better salon.
