My grandma and grandpas memorial service was at Knollcrest Funeral Home this past weekend, and I never thought I would be so disappointed and heartbroken. My mother and her siblings went over the plans and arrangements for the memorial service with Josh and his family. They seemed extremely knowledgeable and professional up until the day of the memorial. The service was scheduled at 10am. When we arrived 30 minutes early to set up for the service, we were surprised by an unexpected funeral. I completely understand the nature of the business, but no one had made this aware to my family. This cut into the time we had to set everything up, and we were forced to wait in the foyer along with the guests arriving for the service until they had "cleared" our room. Josh had recommended a deacon that he raved about and claimed he would "be perfect" for my grandparents. Please keep in mind that the deacon had over a week and a half to deliver a eulogy. My mother and her siblings told stories for him to include in his eulogy for my grandparents. With everything that they went over, we were expecting a beautiful service to honor the beautiful people my grandparents really were. Unfortunately, the deacon did not deliver what we had expected. At the beginning of the eulogy, he apologized in advance because he wasnt the best note taker. He botched the stories that my mom, aunts and uncles had told him AND was calling my grandma and grandpa BY THE WRONG NAME!! My grandmas name was Regina, and he kept saying Virginia. A service that was supposed to be a time to grieve and give Glory to our Lord for the life and legacy my grandparents left us, instead left us feeling empty, offended and deeply saddened. My family and I are now having to arrange something else to honor my grandparents and give us that "closure" we were really looking for. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend Knollcrest Funeral Home to anybody.

The staff at Knollcrest made a terrible situation in my family easier. They were so kind and knowledgeable. The service was so nice and the staffs attention to detail made me feel comfortable trusting them. The funeral home is beautiful. They obviously keep up with the decorating. When we first came we thought that such a nice place would be expensive, but they were very reasonable.

I have been to Knollcrest several times, and referred many families there. The staff could not be more accommodating and the place itself is beautiful and comfortable. Its never easy to have funeral arrangements or even visit to comfort friends, but this particular place makes it so much easier.

Knollcrest did a great job to have a wake to remember the great times and speak on the good times
