Very unprofessional and lazy. I cant verify for everyone at this shop, but from what I experienced I would stand in front of their door to turn people away. I came here because I was told I had to by the insurance company of the person who rear-ended me. At the estimate, Mark seemed great. Quick, professional and polite. I ended up getting the car fixed earlier than originally scheduled because my car was deemed unsafe to drive. However, Mark was out of town to do this. I had to travel out of the state for work that week, therefore, I was very considerate to check in on how my car was proceeding. I was not kept updated during the week of repair. When I called, each day, to check in on the eta - I was given a variety of answers. On Thursday morning, I called the shop and spoke to Alyssa, the front desk gal. She told me my car would not be ready until Tuesday. I confirmed The date and made sure I was able to keep the rental car until Tuesday. Since she said yes, I kept working out of state and made appointments for Friday. 4 hours later, I received a call from the insurance company, claiming that my car was finished that day and I needed to pick up my car within a day or I would be charged. I tried to explain I was told by the shop earlier that day the eta of Tuesday, I was now 5 hours away and could not possibly make it back to pick up the car. After the insurance company went back and forth with me and Alyssa with Gerber- they still refused to give me any lei-way on the rental car. I called Alyssa after the first call with the insurance company to confirm what she told me. Her excuse was that the system did not update. She did not apologize or take any responsibility for her actions with the insurance company. I was forced to take off work on Friday and drive home 5 hours Thursday night at midnight because of their laziness because I had to return the rental. When I did make it to pick up my car, Alyssa still held no responsibility or apologized for her actions. Then I had to ask 4 times for someone to walk me through what they fixed on my vehicle. All she did was pass along my receipt. Then ask vague questions to the back shop. I couldnt believe that their companys procedure was not to have a shop worker or manger walk a customer through their car after its been worked on. Sorry this is so long but I was completely repulsed by how multiple people in the company acted towards their customers.

Brought my car there for a rear bumper replacement and taillight replacement, first time they delivered me the car, the bumper didnt even come close to lining up with the body. I also noticed the taillight that they should have replaced, was just the same taillight that was polished, still scratched. Gave them another chance and explained how I felt about the car looking bad, Chris explained to me that it was because USAA wouldnt pay for OEM new parts as my car was above 100k. He ordered a new OEM bumper and told me to come back in a couple days, I wasnt concerned and came back the next Monday as I worked all week. The car literally looks like they washed it with sandpaper I need to do a full paint correction on the vehicle, along with Polish in every corner of the vehicle, it literally looks like someone that has no idea how to wash or Polish a car took care of this. Honestly it looks like they ran it thru an automatic car wash. The paint looks decent, but the first time they delivered it to me it had runs. The worst part was after all of this back and forth and everything, Chris didnt even give me a proper hand shake and a thank you. He just dropped the car off outside and told me here it is, then hid in his office. I dont know if thats how he usually does it, or if he was ashamed of the work that they did, but now I have to fix my cars paint (9 hour process) and hope most of the heavy scratches come out. I mean it looks like spider man attacked this car. Im not happy at all. If I knew the work on my vehicle was going to be this bad I would have had someone I trust with a paint gun do it for me and I would have installed it myself. The women behind the counter were very nice and friendly tho. I will say that. Customer service was decent but actual quality of work is horrible.

Just saw so many bad reviews on this body shop. I think it is my responsibility to tell other potential customer to avoid this shop. My experience at this shop was terrible, or being treated by Mark Walker. The quote for my repair was more than $7,000. I asked the Mark that since it is a big order, if Gerber can write off some of my deductible. Without any hesitation, Mark answered immediately that he can discount $250 from my deductible. This write off of $250 had also been confirmed when the Gerber called me two days later to attract my repair order. So I send my car to repair on March 24, and Gerber agreed it will be completed in 5 days. But it was delayed and delayed from March 31, to April 1, to April 4. Till April 5, around 4:30 pm, Gerber called me that the car is ready to pick up at 5 pm. On April 6 morning at 7:45 am, I went to pick the car. I waited about 10 minutes and being told that there is a small fix that is yet to be fixed. The worst thing is that the twice agreed $250 write off by Gerber or by Mark Walker was denied. Instead they use the $250 of appearance allowance that insurance company gave to me as their write off. I told them that the appearance allowance is between me and insurance, nothing to do with the Gerber. What a joke. Mark or Gerber takes the advantage of this $250 as their write off. It may be their plot at beginning. I will make this issue to BBB. Anyway this is a body shop everyone should be avoided. Mark is a very dishonest people.

The first thing you notice when you come in is Alissas bright smile and cheery helpfulness. I had the shop paint a replacement side-view mirror to match the car (2000 Nissan Sentra). I brought the mirror in and they painted it beautifully, quickly, and inexpensively (relative to two other area quotes). When I went to install it, I found the shop I bought it from had sent the WRONG mirror! So, I had to get a second mirror and have Gerber paint THAT also! Chris was very understanding and gave me a GREAT discount on the second paint job, which was also quickly done and matches the car perfectly! Any time youre dealing with car damage, youre probably having a bad day, dealing with the cheerful, understanding, and professional people at this shop made it much more pleasant for me!

Scheduled a mobile windshield replacement. They never showed up!!! Can you believe that?! So I called the shop but you cant reach the shop directly, all calls go to a national call center. So I set up new appointment. AGAIN they didnt show up!!! I stopped by the store cause its 2 miles away from me to try to leave the vehicle there, but they told me I have to call the same number to cancel the appointment in order for me to be able to leave the car in the shop. This was the most horrible and unbelievable experience that Ive ever had. So far I thought that Comcast has the worst customer service but after this Gerber is gonna be the new champ of most horrible customer service. Unbelievable.
