This one is beyond belief — yet true. This review is based solely on the behavior of the office manager Debbie. I purchased through Angie’s list an advertised special from Tritan Plumbing for a frost free outside faucet installed for $149. I pay Angie’s list with my credit card. Amber Keltz from Triton calls me to schedule the appointment. She asks me if I want a Heavy Duty faucet for an additional $50. BEWARE, this was a warning sign I missed! Next we set the appointment, I tell Amber that I am off the next two Saturday’s, is there an additional charge for Saturday? Amber puts me on hold to check with the office manager, she comes back and tells me it is not a problem, there will be no additional charge for Saturday. We set the appointment for Saturday April 9th 2016. The tech comes on Sat April 9th, installs the HD faucet in under 45 minutes. He gives me the bill. $200 additional!!! I am expecting a $50 bill for the heavy duty faucet. The tech tell me the $200 is in addition the $149 I paid Angie’s List. So The $149 special is actually $350. Classic bait and switch. I tell tech I pre paid with Angies List and lets call the office. I speak with Debbie the office manager. This is what Debbie told me: “I am bad business. She (Debbie) knows what Amber told me, because Amber is new and she was standing right next to her.” Triton does not care! I’ve read every negative review for them. It is a prewritten statement, exact same one for every critical review. Also, the outdoor faucet is loose. They did not secure it to the house!

First I will say right off the bat that this "project" went very well from the start. Once I purchased the deal, Tritan e-mailed me right to set up the appointment at a time that fit my schedule, not theirs. When the plumber, Mike, arrived, he was on time and very professional. The only glitch had nothing to do with Tritan, but with the way Angies list described the deal. Although the description did mention that any additional pipe that was needed would require an extra charge, I did not realize that Mike would have to cut into the dry wall in my garage to get at the pipe. I also did not realize that the additional charge would be $200, so my very good deal went from being $145 to a moderately expensive $345. I will say to Mikes credit, that since he felt a little awkward about the extra charge, that he did as much as he could to make the whole in the wall as small as he could and answered several questions that I had concerning plumbing related issues throughout my home. He gave me as much time as I needed and was very patient answering all of my questions. He even called me back latter that day with an answer to a question I had that morning. I guess the best review I can give Mike and Tritan is that I liked their service so much that they are coming back to my home next week to provide additional work. I will be an expensive job, but I would not trust it to anyone else.

On Tuesday September 5th Phil from Tritan came to my home to look at our water heater. The water heater couldnt be fixed so Phil quoted us for a tankless system, and scheduled us for a install on Thursday September 6th at 9am taking half of the $2800 up front. At 902am Thursday the office assistant called me to say Phil was injured and couldnt do the install and that there was a problem with the price we agreed to on Tuesday. The office assistant called me back 10min later saying she spoke with the owner and the cost would actually be closer to $6000, $3200 higher then the agreed upon price. I requested an immediate refund and will be taking my business elsewhere. Im not sure where the disconnect is between the owner and his employees. Phil also said it would take 4hrs to install and the owner said 8hrs.

I had Tritan Plumbing come out for a couple of plumbing issues I had. I was happy I had Tritan Plumbing come out because they were able to take care of everything for me! They replaced 2 water heaters, install a new ejector pump and also fix my main sewer line that had cracked off out side of my home. I am very happy with the work they did, they were very neat clean and very professional! They were on time and very honest guys! Mickey and Brandon came to my house early in the morning and were able to finish everything by the end of the day. They stayed until the job is complete even though it was late they made sure everything was complete. I would always call Tritan Plumbing to take care of my plumbing needs! I would recommend my family and friends to use Tritan Plumbing!

I bought a house in Plainfield last year and I just discovered the back up pump that was attached to the sump pump was dead and I needed a new one. I called Tritan and was told they could replace the battery so she sent Damian out. I also asked him to check the pump and see if it was still good. He pulled the old pump and I was told it wasnt installed right and that the back up battery wasnt even connected correctly. So he replaced them both. I also have a toilet in the basement that was making a noise so he looked at that also. Come to find out, that wasnt installed correctly either....Damian was great and did all the work and now everything is working great. I am very pleased with the service and friendliness of both, Damian and his apprentice.

We were very happy with Tritan. The pipe between the house and septic tank broke. I was surprised that they were willing to dig it up and repair it that night! I elected to have it done during the day. They came out, dug it up, replaced the pipe (properly, I might add since it was done wrong and destined for failure by the previous owners) and restored the soil. It was a big job for a homeowner to soak up, cost, digging, cleaning sewage out of your house. As nerving as it may be to go through this experience, its what they do everyday and they made us feel at ease. I have no problem using them in the future as our plumbers we do our remodeling knowing that the job will be done right the first time. Thanks guys. Ken and Theresa

Mickey had done prior work in our home replacing the hose faucets. While doing this work, he noticed that the main water valve was leaking and that the second shutoff valve (the one after the meter) did not work. Replacing the main water valve required coordination with the city to shut off the water from the street. Normally the city employee shuts the valve off and leaves and you have to call back to get the water turned on again. Mickey did the replacement of the valve so quickly that the city employee never left. Although the plan was to replace only the main valve before the meter, we ended up replacing also the valve after the meter since it also had a small leak. Mickey gave a fair price and did an outstanding job.
