Roto-Rooter Plumbers Elgin, IL Novermber 27, 2010 Plumber-I was in the process of putting Holiday decorations up in my house when I happened to walk into my utility room. I noticed a hissing sound from the water heater and saw water dripping from the bottom. I got the phone book and noticed the ad for Roto-Rooters. I have never used them before. I called and the representative was very nice, she said the plumber would come in a few hours. Then I got a call from the dispatcher saying the plumber was on his way. A half hour later, Edmundo, the plumber arrived. He was very professional and said he would take care of everything for us. He got us a nice new water heater, installed it very professionally. He really cared about the service he delivered. He even got several tarps to put on the carpet so the old heater would not drip. I found the level of service to be very professional, above and beyond what I expected. From the first phone call to the completion of the job, my wife and I were very pleased. We will definitely use Roto-Rooter again and highly recommend them. Thank you for a job well done!!

I am the type of guy who hesitates to call a repair man because I dread being overcharged for poor quality service. When our drain backed up, I had no choice but to call for a plumber. Roto-Rooters dispatch was helpful and they actually called me back to tell me when the technician was on his way. I have never had a follow-up call from a repair service to update me on an arrival time! Bill, the technician who came, was polite and informative and they did not even charge me for the visit! I received no surcharge for the technician to diagnose my problem or for the fact that the technician was called out at 8pm on a Sunday evening. Bill was able to find the problem and got our drain flowing effortlessly. When he was finished, he cleaned up his work area and I was surprised to find that he left the space cleaner than when he got there. Roto-Rooter also guarantees their work, which was a pleasant surprise. Although I would never wish plumbing problems on anyone, I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter to friends and family for the future.

This cant be real. I called this company again I dont know what was I thinking to give them a second chance. We called yesterday to set up for today and guess what they told your tech will be there between 10-12 next day which is TODAY 08/21/14 and at 11:15 am this morning they called me and told me that he will be late again which happen same bs last time I called and set this up. Last time was 2 days oh sir we running late will call you when hes done with the work is doing right now I guess that work was 48 hours I truly think this company is the worst of the worst Ive ever deal with. I cant even think why I even try to give them a second chance but I thought everyone deserves a second chance but they just cant get right WOW. The funy thing is they will call you after they messed up and tell you sir we are very very sorry about all this after you waste your day. So here we go people our neighbor company KEEP WAITING THEY WILL COME ONE DAY OR EVENTUALLY

We called on Saturday night after we were unable to get our only tub/shower drain flowing. We were told they would be there between 12 and 2 the next day. They were late, but we were called and informed that they were running behind so we didnt mind. When they got there we were notified that our pipe had a leak and that they would need to call out someone who replaced pipes (little did I know that there was a difference). They told us someone would come out that day. Well they did not. We were called and told that they wouldnt be able to make it out until Monday night. I guess emergency service means something different to everyone. Oh well. When Ricky showed up the next day he was amazing! He was in and out (a run to the store for parts included) in less than 2 hours. The price was very reasonable and he was super friendly. Plus we have a one year guarentee, I cant complain! I will definately use them again.

Roto-Rooter Plumbers Elgin, IL on 12/2/10. We called and made an appt because we were having leaking issues with the pipes under our kitchen sink. They came out (about a half-hour late, but not that big of a deal) and did a thorough assessment of all of the potential plumbing issues. I decided since he was there and the pipes under the sink needed to be replaced anyways that I would have him replace the sink/faucet as well. He started on removing the old sink/pipes while I ran to Home Depot to pick-up a new one. Chris and his partner Butch did a great job fitting in the new sink and installing the new fancy touch faucet and hooking up the new water filter (which needed to be fit with new tubing). Post Blizzard assistance...Roto-Rooter came through! The Roto-Rooter plumber from Elgin IL was professional, punctual, friendly, and thorough. I placed a call to Roto-Rooter regarding a problem we were having with a clogged toilet. I was told someone would be out to fix the problem in under 2 hours and we would receive a call 30 minutes prior to the plumbers arrival. The plumber arrived in a timely manner which was impressive seeing as the neighborhood was still attempting to dig out after a terrible blizzard. Each time he entered the house he wore shoe covers to avoid tracking dirt and snow around, which I very much appreciated. The plumber expertly fixed the problem and made sure the toilet was properly functioning before leaving. I was even able to save money with a coupon from the telephone book. Thank you, Roto-Rooter, for making this a pain free process!

The drain in our basement was backing up. I called Roto-Rooter and they had someone out to my house within the hour! Mark gave me an estimate before he did any work to make sure the price was okay. We had our main sewer line rodded and root killer put down the drain as well. Our plumber, Mark, made sure to go over everything he did before he did it. He made a recommendation to have a clean-out station put in but he was NOT pushy at all...just offering some advice for the future. He made sure (a few times) that no water came back up the drain once he was done. He was one of the nicest people I have come into contact with and was very thorough. I would highly recommend this company!

Requesting service online for our Crystal Lake IL home was easy. The follow-up call from Roto-Rooter was great. Availability of a service technician was soon enough for us. The performed service corrected our problem. The price seemed high for this repeat service relative to the same service we had a few years ago. Also, we had hoped that our purchasing the Roto-Rooter blue drain cleaner would have prevented the need for this repeat service. The Roto-Rooter survey request email and the Google review option are both ideal opportunities to rate the service and provide feedback. All in all, we were satisfied with the technician and the solution. Thanks!
