I have been a customer of Countryside Tailor and Laundry for about 4 years. For about four years, they did my suit pant hems and cuffs fast and reasonably priced. I live in Fort Lauderdale and visit my in-laws up in Oldsmar but since Dennis was always friendly, whenever I needed work done I would bring it up to coincide with my monthly visits. Recently, I had a really off putting experience. I gained some weight and took 3 suits to have the pants and jackets let out to fit to my new contours. One of the girls took my measurements and I paid up front $150. No problem, I felt like I trusted them and they always did good work before, I didn’t think anything of it. When I went to pick it up the next day, after trying everything on, only 1 suit fit. It wasn’t the girls fault I gained weight or there wasn’t enough fabric to let out to my new size. I felt taken advantage of having them take my money and not notify me that they wouldn’t be able to do the tailoring to my specifications. I was disappointed, so I asked to speak with Dennis, the owner. Now, I have always told him how much I appreciate their friendly, same day service. However, when I told him how disappointed I was that the suits were not completed to order, and that after $150 spent I still needed to go out and buy a suit, his answer to me was to bring it to him and he would give me friendly pricing. Aggravated and let down, I went with my clothes to the car where my wife was waiting. When I told her what happened, she insisted she go speak with him. From her account, Dennis was rude to her, commenting on my weight and saying that he did not care that he took a customer’s money without verifying the job could be done correctly. He wasn’t very nice to my wife in front of me, and she was advocating on my behalf without being rude or insulting. Only after my wife prompted him did he offer a partial refund. I am very disappointed because before today, I liked the staff and service I had received. My advice: keep your tailoring to minor alterations. Any big or complicated orders, pay after you try it on or 50/50 before and after. I will not be returning and I know I will not be missed.

have been using Countryside Cleaners since I moved to Hoffman Estates (3 months), and I have gone to them for the last time this evening. They advertise that they will take any competitors coupons, and the sign in the store says "ALL" coupons from competitors. I brought in a coupon from Eco-Cleaners on Higgins, and they refused to take the coupon because they claimed it was from a "discount" dry-cleaner. The prices at Eco-Cleaners are actually fairly high, and most certainly not discount. I asked to speak with the owner/manager, was refused, and repeatedly told that there would be no accepting of my coupon because of the belief it was for "discount dry-cleaning," even after I showed them the advertisement from Eco-Cleaners with their higher prices printed out. I think this false advertising and bad service, along with less than perfect cleaning, make this a horrible dry cleaning experience. If anything, I would have expected them to at least apologize or give me a valid reason for the refusal. Instead, they asked to take the coupon from Eco-Cleaners away from me (I kept it), and did not offer an apology, discount, or further explanation. I will never go here again. Bad business, bad customer service all around.

I had a coupon from them which said 99 cents for laundered shirts (with any dry cleaning order). When I went there they said they would charge me $1.19 for each shirt bcos the marketing company made a mistake and it was not supposed to be 99 cents. Mind you, they had no such correction notice in their store (most businesses do that if they have made a coupon mistake). I was told that I would either have to pay $1.19 or take my business elsewhere. This was told to me after I had already dropped 40 shirts out of my laundry bag onto their counter, so it would have been an obvious hassle to take them back. Anyways, my primary complaint is not that I ended up paying $8 more than I intended to, but rather the attitude of the lady. She was so rude and it was amazing that she actually said (more or leass verbatim) "Well, if you are not willing to pay $1.19, you can take your business elsewhere as we will definitely not be wanting your business". Thanks for the comment - I will defintely take my business elsewhere - where they actually care.

This place is a joke. I have lived in this area for a while and have used several cleaners, but have never received such horrible service, They "ironed" my 4 shirts, which came back looking awful. There were creases all over the shirts. I took them back and asked them to do it again free of charge and they (lady owner, probably part of the family that owns it) looked at my like i was crazy. Then she attempted to tell me "theyre all like that". The girls that work there look like they are still in jr. high..maybe they ironed my shirts? GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

Excellence and reliability. These are the two most important things I look for in professional services. Certainly when I am entrusting someone with alterations and dry cleaning of expensive suits, dress shirts, and pants. And these people has never failed to exceed beyond my expectations. The fact that their prices are so good is just icing on the cake. The sweet lady who runs the store is always a delight to see and her sons are remarkably accommodating and professional. Their service and excellence made me a loyal customer for all of my family!

I took my shirt in to get it cleaned for the first time since the new management. Not only did they completely ruin the shirt and change the color (shirt on the left is what it looked like after they cleaned it and the shirt on the right is how it should look), when I brought the shirt back they had horrible customers service. They stated my options for the shirt was to take an $18 credit (shirt was originally $60) and they keep the shirt or I took the shirt with no credit or them doing anything for me. Will never come back here again.

Is there away to give negative stars?!!!! My brother is getting married this weekend and my mom was going to hem my dads custom ordered pants and didnt have time so my dad took them here then gave him the wrong pants because they where missed marked the pants we got were Aeropostle and a really heavy fabric and the ones he dropped off were Calvin Klein and linen and two different colors. This place needs to work on customer serves, in my opinion they added another unneeded stress to an already stressful weekend for my parents.

Best dry cleaner in the area. I recently moved around in December and went to few cleaners to try out until I stopped at BAE Cleaners. I have used them since they switched to new management. The workers are nice and most importantly I am very satisfied with their services. I usually have my shirts dry cleaned every week and they press my clothes perfectly. The prices are also reasonable. The manager is also friendly and seems to really care about his customers. Definitely a place where I can comfortable rely on.
