Ive been looking to get my service upgraded to 200a for a while now and was going to do the job myself but realized its a much larger job than I had expected it to be. I set out to find a contractor that could get the job done to what I had envisioned and Jake Electric succeeded in doing so. Chris is very knowledgeable with his work and his people skills makes understanding complex issues extremely simple to the average homeowner. His services are very competitively priced, but if he charged more it would be worth it because he does quality work and used quality products. I will be using Jake Electric again for any future electric projects and would highly recommend for others to use. Thanks again for the wonderful job you and Justin did!

I was tired of the cable clutter of my home A/V system. Chris from Jake Electric installed electric outlets five feet up the wall behind my flatscreens in the livingroom and master bedroom. He then put two outlets into my equipment closet; one for my 5.1 receiver on a higher shelf and another down near the floor for the subwoofer. The system is now well on its way to being organized and clutter-free with all cabling and electric hidden inside the walls where it belongs. Very happy with the job and strongly recommend Chris and Jake Electric.

I called Chris at Jake Electric to come out to check on our electric since we had a partial outage at our house. Instead of jumping on the chance to come out and complete an expensive repair, he suggested that we call ComEd first. He knew the problem without even coming to look, and he knew that ComEd would fix the problem for free. In my opinion, this is a stand up company to not take advantage of a potential customer, and if I have any problems in the future, Jake Electric has won my business!!! I cant say enough about JAKE ELECTRIC SERVICE! Found them by chance on google & Chris made himself available immediately. I had been trying to fix my daughters electricity in her room for almost a week & it took him only 2 hours. Prices were very reasonable during these hard economic times. His professionalism is unsurpassed & I highly recommend his service... Service was 100% and his kindness was easing also. Thanks again Chris & we will save your number!!!!!

I was having power outages constantly on my 2 flat town home...most electricians are hesitant to do work on multi units because its alot of extra work...i was referred to chris and over the phone he knew exactly what was wrong gave me a quote and he did not put me on a waiting list...if you need someone to fix your electric problems no matter how big or small the right way the first time and no bs defiantly call chris! i am very happy with the job jake electric does.

Needed emergency service, I got it with a smile. Jake Electric found and fixed my problem in a fast and professional manner. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them. In this day and age of poor customer service, it was refreshing to have someone who spent the time explaining what the problem was, fix it and cost-effective. Im having him come back to rewired and repair a host of things. Need an excellent company, call Jake Electric A++++

Ive used Jake Electric and Chris for two jobs, both of which were done extremely well. He takes the time to think out the project and plan his approach before he does the work. On my latest project, he even did some non-electrical work because the job I hired him for took less time than he thought, so he asked me if I had anything else for him to do at no additional charge. I highly recommend Jake Electric for whatever project you may have.

I found Jake Electric to be very compentent. Chris the owner was self motivated and all work was performed in a timely manner and at a reasonable and competive price.Chris, the owner was very helpful with what type of lighting looked best and the proper layout of fixtures.Thanks to Chris we are well satified with our basement remodel.I highly recommend Jake Electric for any electrical work you are planning...

Jake Electric provided top of the line electrical service when I needed both of my bathrooms rewired. They were able to take a complicated, confused mess, previously installed by the original builders, and turn it into a simple solution that I was able to live with. Chris explained everything in a non technical answer that was easy to understand. He also worked very quickly. Also he is very knowledgeable he understood what I wanted to do and I listened to his suggestions to make my recessed lighting turn out to be fantastic. Would reccomend to everyone!

Great!!! Chris from Jake Electric came out this morning to install a couple of ceiling fans for us. He worked quickly, was very respectful, and made sure the job was done right. Definitely would give this company my highest recommendation, we were very satisfied.

Its hard to find electricians to do smaller residential jobs, but Jake Electric does great work and is accommodating to my schedule. Prices are very reasonable, highly recommended and would use them again. Justin does very professional work.
