Have used Hucker Electric for over six years on fairly small electrical jobs to the most labor intensive job of upgrading service to our house. The latter job included coordinating with ComEd. Thanks to Hucker Electric, even that massive undertaking was a success and was relatively painless. Every job has been spearheaded by Tony Bean. With each job, Tony has listened to our concerns, inspected the problem, discussed the possible solutions with us, and presented a cost breakdown for each possibility. The work has always been done in a timely and professional manner with nothing for us to clean up afterward. This weeks job brought Tony Bean once again from Hucker Electric. His vast knowledge meant that the problem was quickly diagnosed and professional repaired. Tonys sense of humor can put even the most aggravated customer at ease. As long as Hucker Electric and Tony Bean are just a phone call away, we dont worry about to whom we turn for electrical repairs, no matter the size.

Service tech was very professional and courteous. However, when I was told I needed to replace my entire fuse box, whip to the meter and the meter I was troubled. The tech told me ComEd was going to need them all upgraded to new smart meters. I had heard about this upgrade, but assumed ComEd would be replacing them since the meter is theres. I mentioned this to the tech, he insisted that I owned the meter and I was responsible to upgrade it out of pocket and ComEd would make me do so. Well, several months have passed. I have received a letter from ComEd that has informed me they are upgrading to a smart meter and at no cost to myself. Ive even spoken with a tech who contracts with ComEd and installs the smart meters himself who also informed me that those meters belong to ComEd and they take care of the upgrade, not the home owner. What a scam. I am thankful I didnt buy into this nonsense and I sure hope no one else has.

Last night I had an aquarium (150 gallon) break. Water was gushing everywhere; I smelled smoke, and half the house went dark. My husband immediately said he needed to call Hucker Electric. Within minutes, they called back and after asking a few questions, gave us the option of waiting until the following day to help save on cost! Toni was at the door at 7:30 sharp the next morning and as always diagnosed the problem, and we were back up and running in no time. This is nothing new; this is Tony. he has came to our rescue before. He is the epitome of professionalism and friendliness. Id give him 10 stars if I could. Its so nice to be able to completely trust the word and work of a professional! Tony is the best. p.s. He even let me look at pictures of fish and diving on his phone while he repaired the damage.

The 240 dryer receptacle needed to be replaced in my mothers house (a faulty neutral wire). When it went out, she thought that the dryer might have been fried as well, and she thought she would have to shell out more money for a new dryer on top of what it would cost to replace the wiring in the receptacle. All of her fears were put to rest when 1.) The price for the repair was what was quoted. 2.) They were done in less than an hour, and 3.) THE DRYER WORKED! She doesnt have to buy a new dryer! Great job, guys! We will go with them again if we need any more electrical work done!

I have used Hucker Electric on several occasions to have work done on my home. Most recently, I contracted with them to do the electrical work for finishing my basement. Othell and Tony were the electricians who executed the work. Both gentlemen were very professional and took the time to explain what needed to be done and answer any questions I had. I am extremely pleased with the work that Othell and Tony completed. My overall experience with them and Hucker was outstanding. I will certainly use them for any future work.

Tony and Othell were great. We were having a hot tub installed on our patio, and the delivery guys put it in facing the wrong direction. Tony and Othell helped to move it into the right position. They ran the new wiring so there was minimal conduit showing outside, which we liked a lot. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Would recommend them to other people need who electrical work done.

Tony B. was very friendly and helpful as he explained the cause for my electrical problems with my ceiling lights and fan during his repairs. He also educated me about LED lightbulbs and the correct ones to purchase that can help prevent future problems as well as save me money. I would highly recommend him to service any electrical needs.

Tony was professional and thorough. He installed three new bathroom light fixtures efficiently and was careful to clean up boxes and debris when he finished. He also requested paper towels and glass cleaner to remove his fingerprints from the ceiling fixture after installation. A great experience!

I was pleasantly surprised. The technician was courteous, considerate, and listened well as I explained the problem. He explained what he would and might do and the costs associated with those activities. Then he did his investigation and in less that 30 minutes he found the problem and fixed it.
