We had power outage and we called Steve to come in to help fix the entire unit that was damaged. The damage was due to inappropriate ground work by ComEd, so Steve needed to coordinate with ComEd staff to work on this together. Steve was very patient, and constantly followed up with ComEd to schedule the work. He was also very experienced and proactively had inspection arranged for us ahead of time so that once they fix the problem, ComEd can turn on the power right away. We appreciate the professional work he has done, and will recommend his work without any reservation!

I had Steve from S & S electric come out to fix wiring for my pool. He told me well in advance the day he was coming, showed up to the job early and fixed the three problems I had with the electrical for my pool. My pool did not pass the electrical inspection from the city prior to calling S & S electric, but after Steves work everything passed. He is very professional and the rate is very reasonable. I would highly recommend him to friends and plan on calling him again for future electric services I encounter.

I needed an estimate and called six electricians. Steve at S & S was the only one to respond to my voice mail. He was at my door within an hour of calling to give the estimate. Steve was very courteous and professional. He spent the time to talk through and answer each question and concern. It was evident he was not out to "up-sell" but to provide me with honest recommendations and a fair estimate. In the future, I will only be making one call and that will be to S & S.

During the winter I noticed that snow was melting in a straight line to the garage. I knew there was an issue with the circuit. I called several electricians for a quote. Steve came to provide a quote. I felt he was the right electrician because he provided the right solutions to correct the issue. He was on time, clean, provided great service and a fair price. S&S exceeded all expectations. Steve was great; he returned our call quickly and showed the next day for an estimate (which was 67% less than the other companys). The work was scheduled on a Saturday morning, no problem, and was finished in 6-hours. We are very happy with the 4 installed fixtures, 3 of which needed ceiling boxes installed as well. I couldnt say more for this small local company offering quality service.

Steve from S&S was fantastic, honest, and knowledgeable. We had a rogue wire, which he found and fixed, and came back for a follow up to ensure everything was still working properly. Would highly recommend S&S for jobs big and small! He knew what he was doing, was honest and accurate about pricing, and went above and beyond to let us know about things we should look out for. If you need an electrician, call S&S first.

Steve from S&S Electric Services took the time and patience to fix what we thought was a small issue that really ended up being a bigger problem than what we originally thought. We are grateful he came to our home and stayed until 10:30PM until the issues were resolved. Steve kept us informed of what he was doing the entire time and is very friendly. We found our electrician for life!

I had two jobs to be done-- one simple job of adding new external outlets to the house and a tougher job of moving a conduit location to eliminate a leak during heavy rains. S&S came to the house twice, the first time to do the initial work, and the second time to ensure the job with the leaky conduit was done correctly. Everything was great, and I am very happy with the work done!

Steve was great, I called him when my 100 amp breaker would not turn on, no power in the house an almost dead cell phone and my wife and daughter home in 2.5 hours. Steve took care of my problem quickly and efficiently and even suggested some things I could do to make my homes electrical more efficient and safer. Thanks Steve!

I needed several machines hooked up in my shop ASAP and S&S came thru. They even checked the motors for ware being that they were used machines. I also needed four Cat6 cables pulled, along with computer setup which, wasnt an issue for S&S. They are a one-stop-shop and at a great price! Thanks Again Andy

Called for a small wiring job I needed to have done. Had an appointment set up for the same day. No one showed up. After calling to see what was going on I was told someone would call me back. No one called back either. Completely unprofessional. I would stay as far away from these people as I can.
