I love family video. Ive been a dedicated customer for over 16 years of my life. Ive never had a horrible experience until I started visiting this store. Twice in 4 days they give me DVDs with locks on them. Which means I cant take them out the case. Family video unlocks them for me the next day. When I get home and put the DVD in the player it doesnt work because its scratched. I bring it back to them to clean, and they relock the DVDs and hand them back to me. I also rented a DVD and another season and none of them work. I come to this store because i thought it was cheaper than renting on the digital box or purchasing. But at the end Comcast is cheaper and less inconvience. I now see why family video will end up like blockbuster.

I like walking thru a store as apposed to a redbox located outside. I dont feel rushed so for that Im okay with paying a little extra. The prices did increase a bit much recently and I noticed they had rental exclusive titles just like redbox has which means things are cut out such as Dolby true Hd/Atmos. Im not sure if this is the case for all exclusive titles but its their way of cutting down on cost. Kinda makes you feel cheated when you are already paying extra over competitors that offer the same. Staff is always friendly its why I keep renting from them.

currently I have been in line with my family for going on 30 minuites. we arrived at 7:30 and its now 9:00 just to be told that all 25 movies were improperly stickerd. we spent our time here to purchase movies, and the young lady tells me they dont have time to check the stickers. she was so content with the situation claiming this was usual and happens often. so its usual to spend your precious time to be told they dont have time. wow, what a disgrace!

A real life video store! Big and tidy. The selection is decent, but the organization of titles isnt so intuitive to me yet (perfectly alphabetized, but in muddy categories like "must sees," "classics," "2 for $1," and Español--which also contained some films in other languages). They have some movies for sale, and most I noticed were $5 or less. Even a BluRay 3D section! And candies and popcorn.

Rude staff. Seems like the place hires high school kids that treat customers rudely. They seem bothered when asked questions and do not help when asked about available movies. On multiple occasions Ive called and asked if they have a specific movie and the answer is always no. Ive asked about movies such as District 9, Passion of the Christ and Schindlers List, to name a few.
